Some people get implants and it looks like they just got half of a soccer ball implanted...they just look so fake and then some people have it look more natural...so whats the difference?      ok you should get silicone gel implants and have them placed under the muscle. i had mine done almost 2 years ago and they look so natural. no one even can tell that my breasts are fake lol. i have only one regret sometimes i wish i went a little bigger. i was an A cup and now they are full B. some days i wish i would have just went ahead with the C cup. but overall i am very happy because they are beautiful and i had one of the best doctors and no pain at all! swelling went down in a few days. i was walking out of the hospital and it was like nnormal lol. oh and he did the incision under my breasts so there is a thin scar there now but its light in color and it isnt raised. before you get the surgery you have to quit smoking for like a month and you have to get a mammogram to make sure your breasts are healthy. that freaking mammogram hurt so much lol and the surgery didnt. i think thats very funny. and the total cost was about k believe it or not because my doctor is famous he does celebrities and socialites in new york city. but i heard that you can get them from other doctors that are also good for like under 10k.

   Why do some women like breast implants over natural beauty?
   I am just wondering why some women want breast implants so badly that they will pay any price for it. I heard that the cost can be close to -50K, complications can occur, and it may cause breast cancer later on. My question for you is why would women want breast implants over natural looking breasts (natural beauty)? I've seen some women do breast augmentation and they looked better going in then coming out, so why then would women still do this?

     I think that they feel like its something the have to do, having to compete with each other and having the best body, everything "perfect" its sad b/c its so crazy, for some women as my self don't need to get enhancements, I also think that it is a lack of self-confidence.

   Are round or peardrop breast implants more natural looking?

   • ANSWER:
     Both can look very natural. The overall outcome depends on a lot of factors: placement, implant material, choice of implant style (wider and flatter or narrow and tall), amount of current breast tissue, shape of chest wall, complications that may arise and surgeon's skill. For most women in most circumstances, the implant shape will make no difference at all in the outcome because after a bit of time gravity will pull a round implant into a teardrop shape anyway. One of the down sides of shaped implants is that if one happens to turn, it can affect the look of the breast. You don't have this issue with the round ones because it looks exactly the same regardless of which side is up.

   Be honest. I'm only asking because because I've always wanted bigger boobs but I don't want to make a big mistake. I'm otherwise very happy with my body.      All the breasts with implants I've seen in real life, excluding strippers of course, have looked amazingly beautiful. Very natural, except no sag so it's like having a teenagers boobs again. C cups implants would look great on you I'm sure. Go for it girl!

   So I have very small breasts (32A). I am considering getting breast implants, but nothing dramatic. Probably just up to a solid B so that I have a little more to work with.      I had mine done about 2 months ago and they feel real. I started as an A cup im 5'1" tall and 105 pounds and i got 425cc mod+ cohesive gel silicone implants. The silicone implants feel and look much more natural than saline, but they cost a little more. I went up to a full C with that size and now 2 months later they have settled and look and feel completely natural. That was the main thing i was worried about and Im very happy with my results. The saline will feel hard and look fake because those have to be overfilled to prevent rippling, which is not pretty if that happens. And i saw 4 different ps and 3 said that i should get high profile implants, which provide more projection beause i have a small fraim but that is NOT what you want if your going for natural. Those will give you alot of fullness in the top of the breast. The last ps i saw was a woman and she said that i should get moderate plus profile and lower my crease under the breast to get the natural result. but the main regret i have is wishing id gone bigger. when you try on the implants and find a size you like you need to increse that by like 15% bc once they are in your body they are going to look alot smaller. They say thats the main reason for revisions. So i went bigger than your wanting to go and have a completely natural result, and thats mainly due to my surgeon who was great, and i did alot of research. im in tx andher name is kristi sumpter.      I usually hate the idea of implants but that's mainly because most women do it just to attract men (fit better in clothes. HA! that's just 1 of the benefits) but since you are really upset about your breast appearence (not just size) then maybe you should look into it. Make sure you find a certified doctor. Ask him TONS of questions. There's no such thing as a stupid question when it comes to this. Make sure you follow his advice, he can tell you what shape and implant to get but make sure you tell him what you have in mind that way he can make a better decision. I wish you luck.

     FDA approved silicone gel breast implants for the first time, but only for women who are 22 or older.
     The FDA decided that breast implants are “reasonably safe” for most women for the three years that were studied, but unfortunately saline implants were not studied for long-term safety.

     Some women have had complications after the surgery:
     Breast pain, breast hardness, and numbness in the nipple are common complications that may last for years, and may never go away.

     The most serious complications include toxic shock syndrome, implants breaking through the skin, or skin dying. A few studies have shown that patients have died or had gangrene as a result of breast augmentation surgery. These are rare but they do happen.

     4 out of 10 reconstruction patients need additional surgery within three years of getting implants.

      Some of them are better. Some are not better. As far as I'm concerned the best breasts are the ones I'm allowed to touch, and see undressed. Those are perfect breasts!

      I have fake boobs and I love them. They look and feel surprisingly natural.My husband likes the way the feel better than real breasts because they are not saggy or too soft. So many people that answer questions about implants are ignorant and don't know anything about them but still feel the need to answer.(Yes there can be complications..yes its a risk... but so are a lot of things in life. I got mine through my armpits..you cant even tell there are scars and no one sees your armpits) and the % of anything happening is really low.If you want them to look as natural as possible get them under the muscle and not too big. They aren't cheap! If I would have been your size I would never have got them but I was flaaat. Men really don't care about fake breasts even if they say they do..they sure stare once you get them. I am married and got my implants for me only. Do your research if you are serious about getting them.

      I'm a woman, so I can't answer from a mans prospective. However, I would assume that you are not showing your breasts off to everyone you meet. If you meet a man and he is not in to you because of the way your breasts look, do you really want to be with this guy? I know that this answer is so typical, but it's the truth. I think of the risks involved. You could potentially die or come in to major health complications when getting breast implants. Death is a very unlikely result, but it's possible! I just don't see why anyone would risk their health to "improve" on something that only a select person/ few people will even see. It just doesn't make sense to me. I say don't do it.

    I got a boob job in aug, its been what, about 10 or so months now, and they don't feel rock hard, but they don't feel soft,

      It sounds like you are suffering from encapsulation. This is when scar tissue forms around the implant. It has nothing to do with vitamin E. If you smoke, then that will have affected things. It may be worth going back to see your surgeon, and see what they say.

      I hear you. Pregnancy boobs were great, nursing boobs were great, after that, well it was a little bit of a let-down.

      I went back to my pre-pregnancy weight and then after I gained back 10 pounds, I thought they looked better. (I'm short and small).

      I wouldn't risk surgery because I have too many people who depend on me. I don't like the look of implants naked. They look great under clothes, but I can almost do that with bras. I'd hate to risk losing any breast or nipple sensation because my breasts are so much more sensitive and react when I'm turned on. It's like a newly discovered reward.

      In the end, it all boils down to how important it is to you. You make a list of pros and cons next to each other and compare them. Don't forget to do it when you are in a good mood with good self esteem. Not in a feel bad mood.

      To me, not a biggie. To most guys, they like boobs. Boobs are great, why fix a great thing?

      It all depends on the material, the surgeon and the size of the implant.
      Cohesive gel implants are the most natural looking, due to their teardrop shape. If you are thinking about getting them, you should follow your surgeon's indications, since they know what size looks best on you. I have a friend who wanted to change to a C cup, her doc told her she should go for a B cup. Turned out she looks amazing, and a lot of people think she just looks better, but they can't figure out what happened (she was an A cup).
      Poorly made surgeries end up looking fake, too.

      a) I am incredibly petite and felt like a little girl with 32B breasts.
      b) It hurt for a few days. I recovered for the most part within a week, but it took three weeks to return to my normal exercise routine.
      c) 400cc. - 32DD breasts afterwards

      e) Yes. They look a little large for my frame, but not too huge.

      silicone over the muscle look and feel the most natural. As long as you don't go too big, they shouldn't look like basketballs. Let the surgeon know your desired results, and he or she will tell you what is best.

      moderate sized implants, especially unders, can look VERY natural very quickly (in my wife's case less than a year)... they give her the bustline of a fit D cup 25 year old!

      I had 2 kids and my chest shrunk to two fried eggs,well a b cup.So I used the chicken fillets,if I got to know a guy he must have found it bizarre that I had a chest one minute,and at bedtime they magically vanished.(I chucked them under the bed)!!       A B cup would not be very noticeable. I went form a 32B to a 32D and at first they did look fake, but they have become more natural looking with time.

      I know they are fake, but I love the way my breast look after my implants.

      There are tons of creams, pills and other things geared towards suckers. Truth is I don't know whether or not any of them work but I am putting my money on they don't.
      However, I have breast implants because it was pathetic for me (27 at the time) to barely fill out an A cup. I got them as a birthday gift to myself, and no one believes me when I tell them they are fake. The Dr. performing the surgery is the key to it being a success. Mine took all my measurements and then TOLD ME how high he would be willing to go in order to look natural. I am a full C now, i got 340cc on one and 330 on the other and really they don't look fake, or overly big. Just make sure its what you want, 5K is alot to spend on something you're not sure of! BTW, I knew at 18 that I wanted a boob job lol! And its not painful like some people make it out to be, i was grocery shopping the next day.

      Hello,

      If you want things to look good over a longer period of time, going "Under" is usually the best choice. Very thin women and those with very little body fat are hard to make look good in general. Much of this of course has something to do with how you want to look. Some women like the "fake round look" that many others want to avoid.

      "Pros" and "Cons" in brief:

      Under the Muscle:

      Pro:
      (1) Better long lasting results.
      (2) Less implant droop over time.
      (3) More natural appearance.
      (4) Less interference with mammograms over the patient's life.

      Con:
      (1) More discomfort initially.
      (2) Occasional unusual appearance with muscular movement - This tends to be an issue with bodybuilders.

      Over the Muscle:

      Pro:
      (1) Easier surgery.

      Con:
      (1) Implants tend to droop quickly.
      (2) Implants more visible - more "rippling."
      (3) More pain over the long term (with the droop.)
      (4) More fake "round as a ball" look.
      (5) Harder to get good mammograms over the life of the patient.

      you can tell then they lye on their back (i am not being rude!!) if they are natural breasts they will look smaller and flatter and fall to the side a little when the girl is laying down, if they are fake they will stay perky whilst she is laying down.

      There are no pills potions or creams that will increase you bust size. You may find if you put on weight you breast will increase in size but so will the rest of you.
      As already stated be happy with what you've got.
      Lots of boys will still like you, boys that go out with a girl because she has big boobs are very shallow and not worthy of you anyway.
      Good things come in small packages, when was the last time you saw a model with huge breasts?
      So unless you want to be in playboy stay just the way you are.
      Lots of girls have breast reductions because of the complications of large breats, sore back, bad posture etc.

      i didn't think silicone implants were legal again. huh. well, i know the "safer" and "softer" implants are waterbased. i think the best would be saline because it is soft, and if you get into an accident, and it pops, it wont kill you like silicone will.

      The price might be 10 000$ together, but if there are complications (your body rejects the medecine), it'll cost more to fix them.

      My wif had hers done and when from an A cup to a C. The results look really nice and look natural both under cloths and not. She has silicone that were placed under the muscle. I was a little worried when she decided to have the surgery because she looked good to me and I was worried that if they did not feel natural that eveytime I touched her I would think about it. However in the year since her surgery I have never seen or felt an implant. Other than her breasts are very slightly firmer than before she it looks and feels the same just larger.

      Like you she had been wearing wonder bras and pushups. now she doesn't have to mess with it any more.

      If you feel like its something you want go for it and remember the biggest complaint post op is I should have gone bigger so go for the C cups

    Is it just me or do implants always look bigger than the natural breast of the same size?
    I was thinking about this because I found out my friend wears a DD bra. When she told me this, I was kind of surprised because I had seen implants before that were DD and they looked much bigger. I then compared my cup size to a woman with implants and hers looked much bigger than what most natural c cups look like. I had thought maybe my friend got her size wrong at first, but then I saw an actual bra fitting website where the model had DD's and her looked about the same size as my friends.

    This leads me to my question that I posted above. I'd appreciate someone else's take on this.

      I would assume that it's because of the difference between the materials used to make the implants. Because breast are mostly fat, they tend to change and fluctuate with a person's weight and age. So, I would say that I believe you're right. Fake is bigger because it doesn't have the same structure, so it doesn't change in any real way.

      I personally think it's stupid though. Who really cares how big a woman's chest is? It shouldn't be so shallow. For me, there's a stunning girl, but not because of her chest, it's because she just makes me feel like everything is fine. I feel relaxed around her. I smile when she does, and there is no pain worse than when she is crying and I don't know how to make her feel better. Her body is lovely but it's her heart and soul that are truly beautiful.

      Honestly, I prefer small breasts over large ones, natural or not.
      I think that the only time someone should get a boob job is when they want to get them reduced from an ungodly large size to something better for their body or health.
      I have small boobs. A cup as well. And honestly, I find that the clothing I wear looks a LOT better on me simply because I have smaller breasts. I find that people with larger breasts (for me, anything over a C cup, which even then is pushing it for me, is large. I find them unattractive and kind of gross) tend to look worse in shirts. On girls with smaller breasts, the shirts tend to just kind of.. hang off of them nicely, you know? I mean, I would rather be completely flat chested than have Pam Anderson tits haha.

      Imagine a girl with large breasts in THAT! I honestly hate seeing cleavage. With this picture though, her chest is small enough to pull off wearing something like that without looking somewhat trashy.

      Not saying that having big boobs naturally is gross, or bad. It just tends to be harder to get the chest area to look tasteful when they are so big.

      If you want to get breast implants, it's your choice. But really, think about how much money it will be, and then consider what will happen if you end up disliking them. Is it really worth it?
      Oh and, a boob job can look completely natural, as long as it was done properly (That's why in Hollywood, only the surgery disasters are well known for getting surgery - like Posh Spice - while others may never be outed because the surgery was done really well.

      To Charlotte M's comment: Being in an all-girls gym class, this is something that I know very well. All the girls with even only somewhat large breasts had to hold them down with their wrists while running. It looked SOOOO funny, and I always felt better that I was pretty much one of very few that was able to run without looking like I had issues.

      To Lexi's comment: They actually are supposed to be "tuned up" on average every 10 years or so. So imagine, getting implants before the age of 30, and let's say that you live until you are 90. If you wanted to keep the implants for the rest of your life, you would have to get them surgically updated around 6 times. Is that really worth it?

    I have breast implants (under the muscle) and wanted to breast feed my child when the time comes. I have heard of natural breasts looking different after breastfeeding (i.e. droopiness, decrease in size, increase in size) and I was wondering if anyone knew, either from personal experience or seen for yourself, how a breast that has implants will look after breastfeeding? I myself, even with the implants, do not have very large breasts, a small C. if that helps in determination.

    Have fake tans, breast implants, make up, hair dyes etc, confused men's idea of..?
    Have artificial appearance "enhancers", like breast implants, or less dramatically, fake tans, make up and hair dyes, confused peoples' perceptions of what an attractive person looks like?

    I'm asking because, none of these things are natural, yet men think that they look attractive, even though in nature in primal times, none of them would have existed.

    When i say that people think breast implants look attractive, what i mean is this - lots of girls with false boobs get into the Men's magazine "sexiest" polls all the time. Men seem to like the big, "hard", high up look of breasts that doesn't occur in nature, because natural large boobs are made of fat and the weight drags them down. It's either small and perky, or large and floppier, lower down in the natural world lol.

    I suppose what i'm trying to get at is this.... Have modern, artificial appearance enhancers confused men (or maybe all of us, people in general) changed our perceptions of what is attractive? We seem to favour unnatural looking things, like the fake tans, make up, and dyed hair....None of that it what a natural person looks like. So how come we can think it's attractive?

      I cannot stand it when women do these things to their bodies. I LOVE EVERYTHING about a womans natural self. I dont like plastic being implanted in women, or paint sprayed all over them. As cliche and corny as it sounds, BEAUTY is from within. To me, the majority of the women who modify their body, do so becuz they dont feel beautiful form the inside. That is largley due to the dam media brainwashing women into thinking that nasty ass hard breasts are attractive and oompa-loompa skin is hot, and neon white hair is sexy. So, yes, these things have brainwashed people into thinking that these are wat make up beauty.....however, some ppl have a mind of their own.
