     Are you trying to grow breasts or pecks? Breasts are primarily fatty tissue while pecks are muscle.

     If you want man boobs then try less exercise and eat more. Most herbs have little or no known medical use (Sadly). If you want pecks which would be better on a man then try working out and hitting the gym. To work chest try wide grip bench press with a combination of shoulder and arm workouts.

     There are two different types of male breast development. One is called Pseudogynecomastia
     and the other is called Gynecomastia.

     The first, Pseudogynecomastia, is due to fat accumulation in the chest area. This type of breast enlargement responds very well to dieting and exercising. The problem is that if you gained excessive weight and then lost it, you may find yourself with a droopy flap of skin (chest ptosis).

     The other type of breasts development, Gynecomastia, is actual breasts tissue and gland formation. In other words, real breasts development similarly to that in women. Milk production may or may not be present, but usually there’s none.

     It may be caused by hormonal imbalance, medication with estrogens or steroidal compounds, failure of the liver to inactivate circulating estrogen (as in alcoholic cirrhosis), marijuana use, hyperthyroidism, decreased testosterone production, chronic kidney disease, Klinefelter's syndrome, testicular tumors, pituitary gland tumors, and obesity which tends to increase estrogen level in the body.

     True Gynecomastia can NOT be treated with exercise and dieting. In fact, doing push ups or other exercises that develop the pectoral muscles underneath the breast tissue can make things worst. This is because the developed muscles will push the breasts tissue outward making them look bigger than they really are.

     If the problem is new, it may be treated with Selective estrogen receptor modulator medications such as Letrozole. This is a pretty effective treatment during the first 2 to 3 years of breasts development. After that period of time, the breast tissue tends to remain and harden due to maturation, leaving surgery the only treatment option. Simply put, the sooner you get treated, the better the results.

     Surgery is an option for some people but not for all. Mainly due to cost. Plastic surgery is very expensive and not everyone can affort it. There is a couple of other options. You could wear a compression garment which hides the condition, or just learn to live with it.

     I would suggest that you don’t try to diagnose yourself, but rather seek the help of a doctor. Because as I mentioned before, Gynecomastia can be caused by some serious medical conditions. I doctor can rule any of these conditions out. Good luck!

      If you were born with xy chromosomes and you are trying to grow breasts, you will always need to take female hormones or the natural testosterone in your body will take over. Havig your testicles removed, helps some, but what is natural to your body from birth will always be fighting to remain that. However, you should know that you will become sterile from the hormones, even if you do not have male parts removed. From all that is being said, hormones may seem like they are not long-lasting, so I wanted to add that bit of information, just to let you know. I truly hope I have been helpful.

      If you are not satisfied with your doctors effors/ advice (which don't seem like much) please see an other doctor. Male breast tissue enlargement is actually very common and usually not associated with cancer. Don't let this control your life; this is not a hopeless situation.

      There is NOTHING you can buy in stores or online without a prescription that is going to enlarge your breasts. The only thing that will do that is estrogen, and you need a script for that.

      If you don't have the cash to Transition safely, under a doctor's care, then you have no business trying to grow breasts. This is a permanent change to your body. You have to do self-exams, and have mammograms done yearly, just like cisgender women. Transwomen can develop breast cancer just like any other woman. If you've got no money for insurance, how are you going to handle these things if you have to?

      The best help I can give you is tell you to stick to breast forms and save your money so you can start seeing a gender therapist. That is the first step in a safe Transition.

      Depends on how much development (not enlargement) you got. If you got a fair amount you might need surgery to get rid of the breast tissue. See your doctor... and tell them the truth (that you took estrogen).

      I tried all kinds of breast enlargement pills and they were all a waste of my money, the only thing that worked for my breasts was hormones.

      After 10 years on the hormones I am no longer functional, I understand about not being able to afford surgery, that is why I have been on hormones for so long.       I don't believe so. Maybe though. If it is true, then it's just sucking the skin. Women, develop fat and muscle to form their breasts. And it's also hormonal. Ever notice that females didn't have breast until they started getting producing more estrogen?

      You can work out and increase your bust size. Other than that, its hormones or surgery.

      Oh also, you can go to my old job at Maidenform (Its a bra store) and they have silicone moldings that look like breasts that you insert into a bra. I know you're hoping for a real pair of boobs, but other than the above things that you can do, you can try the inserts. They feel like real breast and I have had a lot of successful feedback from women who have bought them.

    I know I have large nipples, which is okay by me, but I also seem to notice that my breasts somewhat "stand out". Nothing major, and they don't really droop down, but I don't have very developed pecs or anything, really, but I think my chest stands out more than the average guy's...       I think that you need to check with your doctor to see where you fall in the new BMI Body Mass Index chart which measures your weight to height to fat ratio. Make sure you are looking at a new chart as these numbers have been revised within the last 12-14 months. If you are within your target BMI and are still unhappy with your chest then I would suggest you first attempt to change it through exercise and diet. Often this area can be changed dramatically just by cranking out a few sets of pushups a day for a month. This acts to tone the Pectoral Muscle group you have mentioned which uplifts the breast tissue and often eradicates any apperance of "boy boobs". If None of this works then surgery, called reduction mammoplasty is always an option you can discuss with your physician. I guarantee that no reputable surgeon will perform this operation unless you have tried diet and exercise reduction methods first.
      Lastly though 12-13% bf is not a tiny number, it is not grotesque by any means. I have a feeling with numbers like that you will see fast results with some simple behavior modification via diet and exercise. Take comfort in the knowledge that in general men tend to lose weight faster than women so you will see results faster than I would if we started the same program together.

Remember, with current laws a product claiming to be natural or any herbal remedies are NOT regulated by the FDA. They do not have to disclose what is in their product.       Only one person above even tried to give you a decent answer. That is you would need to take hormones, if you took female hormones your body would react by becoming more rounded, softer and less male. It would ultimately make your genitals smaller too, but they would not disappear. Other than hormones, which still requires a doctor to prescribe them and to follow you along, there's not much else you can do except live the life of a transvestite.

      By the way, most doctors would not prescribe the hormones you need unless they are convinced that you need a new gender assignment--ie you are a woman trapped in a man's body. They will not come to that conclusion until you are evaluated by a psychiatrist who specializes in re-assignments. Only then will that psychiatrist start you on hormones.

      If you go to that extent, then you might as well go all the way and have the surgery. The whole process takes a couple of years. Perhaps that's why not so many reassignments take place and also why there are many transvestites--some of whom are really bad at it, and some who are marvelous.

      just in a general way, I think a person should be happy with their body, so if you want them bigger, then that's what you want. and since it harms no one, I can't see any real good reason why you shouldn't. At the very worst case, you can get a breast reduction if they turn out to be too big later. Even bio-women have to get those sometimes if they grow too big.

      Just one thought though before you do get them enlarged. It's easy to get focused on a goal, and it's hard to evaluate yourself objectively. It's so easy when you want them to be big in the first place, to just keep wanting them bigger. And looking down your chest is such an awkward angle to see very accurately. So here's what I suggest to be really sure it's what you really want. 1, take pictures of yourself from the side angle, from the front, and not just looking down at them. Use a mirror is you have to (but watch the flash!). Do some clothed in a couple different styles, and do some naked. That'll give you better angles to look at their actual size now. Also try padding or adding cookies (bra stuffers) to approximate the size you're thinking of getting them enlarged to. Then take photos of that from the side and from the front (clothed in the same styles and unclothed). Then you can compare them and see which feels and looks more like you, and what you exactly want. Even try it stuffed for a day, and see how it feels to you just in every day. Good luck!

    PLEASE READ, THIS IS VERY BENEFICIAL. I've spent hours upon hours reading different ways to increase breast size.
    The pills are worth hundreds of dollars, with only a slight chance of working, why would you do that? Also with breast enhancement pills, there are other ingredients in those pills the manufacture isn't making completely known, only after doing research on different pills have I found out what is in them. Some have little bits of harmful ingredients while others are completely filled. Some are made all natural, but still have that little hint of danger, and still, are all expensive.
    Breast Augmentation is something completely different. Costing a range anywhere from 00-,000. Going under the knife, leaves scars and sometimes unevenness. Would you really waste 00 on lopsided breasts? Good idea for some, not so for others. Either not having the money, or the dangers involved. They do say breast augmentation has gotten safer over the years, but still, there is ALWAYS a danger with any type of surgery.
    Between the pill and the surgery, I've considered one, then the other, then back to one. I'm unhappy with the size of my breasts, and I always have. I can easily have the money for surgery, but don't want the scars, I'm not wasting money on pills that can damage my health and have no affect on my bust.
    So, sitting and reading on what affects breast and their growth, I've read a few good things.
    -Estrogen is a hormone that comprises a group of compounds, including Astron, Estrada and Estrella. It is the main sex hormone in women and is essential to the menstrual cycle. Although estrogen exists in men as well as women, it is found in higher amounts in women, especially those capable of reproducing. Anyways, when you're pregnant your estrogen levels rise, and well, your breast are noticeably larger. After reading and confirming, estrogen is the main hormone connected with breast growth. If you want larger breasts, here's what you can do:
    Start eating different foods that have a higher level of estrogen. Apples, Cherries, Grapes, Tomatoes, and Pomegranates all have a good amount of estrogen. Apples especially. Alfalfa has high traces of phytoestrogens which is called dietary estrogens. Which means it acts like estrogen. Soy is also very high in estrogen, but a warning, soy extracts are BAD for you. If you are going to eat soy, cook your own soy, no soy extracts. Protein laden foods such as: fresh milk, fish, soy products, nuts and seafood, are also said to increase bust. Very last, flaxseed oil! Flaxseed oil is high in fatty acids and omega 3, 6+9. Very good to take for breast enhancement. And if in the end you don't see you bust grow, flaxseed oil capsules also:
    Lower cholesterol, protect against heart disease and control high blood pressure, Counter inflammation associated with gout, lupus and fibrocystic breasts, Control constipation, haemorrhoids, diverticular disorders and gallstones, Treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn and rosacea, Promote healthy hair and nails, Minimise nerve damage that causes numbness and tingling as well as other disorders, Reduce cancer risk and guard against the effects of ageing, Treat menopausal symptoms, menstrual cramps, female infertility and endometriosis, Fight prostate problems, male infertility and impotence.
    All the food I've listed are healthy, and are not harmful to your health. Also, if you plan to change your diet, as with any diet do not do it in an extreme way. Slowly work the different foods into your already existing diet, this is best for you and your body.

      The best answer i can give you is God. Just put your problems in his hands and believe in him and i can promise you your problems will be resolved, but it might not be what you want. I know you love him but if he cant except that you do not aprrove of what he is doing(which is understandable and you're not wrong about how you feel about the situtation) then he does not love you the same nor has strong feelings for you. For you and your daughters sake, i would say its best to leave him if he does decide to go through with this. Just keep thinking of your daughters happiness and future life. Dont think about suicide.     My psychiatrist gave me several samples of Lunesta - 3mg. I am a bit weary about taking this medication tonight because of the side effects I've heard about (i.e. metallic taste in mouth, male breast enlargement). Has anyone taken this medicine with positive benefits? How long does it take to "kick in?"

    He also prescribed me Sonota - 10mg (just in case the Lunesta doesn't work). Again how long does Sonota take to "kick-in?" Also which medicine is more effective for treating insomnia? Does anyone know how long both of these medications have been on the market?

    How long should I take either of these medications before going to sleep? (My doctor wasn't very specific, plus I forgot to ask - opps!)

    Is there anything else that's important I should know about these medicines?

      Lunesta is a drug that has been known to produce similiar results to other benzodiazepenes (sleep aids) but without any dependency issues. I believe it's the first drug to be used as a long term treatment option. Sonota is a non-benzo which has a similar effect to Lunesta. Allow about 30 minutes for these drugs to take effect,

      The most common and effective prescription drug known to successfully treat insomnnia is Ambien. Ambien works like a charm but if you decide to try it please understand it is not to be combined with alcohol at all. There is a new Ambien timed release capsule that is available due to the short half life of regular Ambien. In other words, if you have serious insomnia and wake after only a few hours sleep, the newer timed release Ambien tablets help in that area.

      Some anti depressants are known to help regulate sleep patterns as well, however it takes some time for results. Some people have been prescribed Zoloft or Prozac, coupled with a 2 week script for Ambien to help you sleep in the short term until the anti depressant meds begin to work effectively.

      Try Lunesta, it will not give you man boobs! That's a severe and rare side effect. If it works, keep using it, if not try Ambien but be responsible when taking it. (In other words, don't take it if you are not prepared to sleep right away)
