     Well, Honey Lamb. I wouldn't change size at all, but I WOULD raised my buttons an inch or two. They aren't too bad, but with my bariatric weight loss, they do ride a little low...I can only do free weights so many hours a day to tighten them up, y'know?

     Nearly all cosmetic practices offer the consult for free or for a pretty nominal amount. I would stick to a board certified plastic surgeon if you want implants and preferably one who has a lot of experience. Revision rate is nearly 50% within 3y for silicone and about 20% for saline. You may want to consider using your own fat for breast augmentation if you want to increase by 1-2 cup sizes. This procedure requires no revisions although additional fat can be transplanted later if needed and there's no need to replace it ever, after all it is your fat! There is only one place in Texas that does this, that I know of and the information is on their website listed as my source.

   i am pretty much flat cheasted and wats worse is the way my nipples are positioned it makes my boobs look even smaller cause they go to the side

     Well if you wait until your 22 (hopfully its the same in Canada as in united States) you can get the silicone implants which feel ALMOST real (lol my friend got them, theyre so soft & squishy lmao)

   Question about NHS Breast Augmentation?
   I was wondering if anyone could help me regarding breast augmentations. I do not know the first thing about where to go to talk to about this, and I'm so insecure about this I don't feel comfortable asking anybody close to me.
   Could I go to my gp and talk to him about it, and if anyone has any experience with this any kind of information would be greatly appreciated. I heard breast augmentations can be carried out free on the NHS, is this the case?

      really? i think you should be provided with free counselling. there's nothing wrong with small breasts, big noses, and cellulite. being natural is whats important and i completely support Obama's "oversite" of these services being covered.

16. QUESTION:
    How do I explain to my dad that I NEED breast augmentation?
    I NEED it (yes, need) and my dad is the only one who can pay for it. I want to get it when I'm 18. My breasts are C cups but they sag horribly (they have no shape and I can easily pull 3-4 inches of free skin off them). My nipples point so down that I can't see them unless I stand in front of a mirror. My chestbone sticks out at least an inch or 2 before the actualy breast tissue starts. My doctors say this will not get better- only worse. I'm losing weight and I've lost weight from steroids and that caused a lot of extra skin (my breast size didn't change but the skin just started sagging more). I don't want to go my whole youth never being able to wear bathing suits or anything low cut. I can't even push my breasts together to form cleavage they sag so badly. Even my mom who is very anti-plastic surgery supports me. But my dad doesn't understand how horrible it is to have sagging breasts like mine because he's a man. How can I convince him? He's never really done anything for me B4.
    My mom's tried but he's like automatic no and thinks of it as weird (because he's a man).
    My parents haven't been together in years-they were never even married-so he could probably care less if her breasts sagged.
    I don't really have back pain from weight but my breasts are sore and do hurt and they are even and I can feel the difference in my posture. I can't just get a breast lift. It won't work. I have no volume on my chest and a breast lift alone won't give me volume so it's basically pointless to get a lift without the implants. Also my lift needs the most severe form of scarring anyway so I might as well get the implants and make them look normal. You see, my breasts' shape starts after my breast pone pokes out (you can see them stick out in my side profile) and then my breasts start. I have like five inches of flat chest before my breasts start. A lift alone won't fix that.

      I think the key to your problem is major research and education. I had an augmentation 10 days ago, but it was something I researched for many years. From what you are describing, it sounds way more medical than cosmetic, but of course the end result is for cosmetic and self-esteem purposes.

      I used to have my lips augmented with a product called Restylane/Perlane. You can read about it below. I would recommend it, as long as you find a skilled injector and don't go overboard, so that it looks natural. I've had a little bit of liposuction and it stung like hell as I was awake! I haven't had a breast augmentation though. HTH : )

    Free Plastic Surgery in the Army?
    Hi, I am an Army wife. I plant to get a breast augmentation and I was told that all I would have to pay for would be the implants themselves, and the surgery was free to me. What are the requirements? Can I have details?

      It is unlikely. Plastic surgery offered by the Army is primarily for mothers needing tummy tucks and/or sag repair/breast lift after childbirth. It isn't generally offered as elective surgery in the traditional sense. As an eighteen-year-old, you may not be an ideal candidate. If, however, you have problems getting back to your pre-pregnancy shape after having a couple kids and have self-esteem issues over it, the Army may offer you the surgery.

    Can a second degree burn become gangrenous in the healing process ?
    My daughter burned the numb underside of her breast - hence she didn't ' feel ' herself getting burned with the heating pad - two weeks ago. She has been home treating it d/t new job and no insurance. The blisters broke - she left the skin alone/kept soaking in H2O2. The lower half of her breast,became reddened/swollen around the actual burned area. She used Neosporin OIntment w/Pain medication afterwards. Now the one blistered area is black in the middle with a couple of areas having some yellowish material exuding, small amount. I have been telling her to see a Dr. - but most places are closed after she gets off work - the Free Clinic won't be taking new patients until March, Med Centers start at 1.00, her insurance won't kick in for another month and a half. And Family Medicine places say that she has to get rated before they will even see her - regarding payments, etc. Any help would be appreciated on both regards. Tks. PS: She had breast augmentation 5 yrs. ago - numb since.

      Yes! If she can't get to a doctor, the ER is your best bet, better to be safe and out a couple bucks than sorry later on.
      I had a chemical burn on my face a year ago and the only thing that made it better was Vaseline. Vitamin E, Neosporn and several things didn't help at all.

      myself, my mum and my aunty got them done and none of ours look fake at all (i didnt even know they had theres done till about a year ago!) it was the best decision i ever made.
      and with the Dcup thing-go for it! im actually a 10D now, but they dont look huge at all, they are the perfect size, but obviously 12D's and 14D's etc will be alot bigger, people normally think im still a C even tho i dont fit in Ccup bras haha i need to go get measured properly actually because i think i might be a DD.

    Is it wrong to be a pro-choice Republican?
    I consider myself Republican on all issues except when it comes to abortion. Is it not a Religious issue for me even though I've grown up through private schools. The way I look at it is more like population control. I'd rather see women aborting their unborn babies than sitting at home sucking off the government. Either because they don't know who the baby's daddy is or they are not financially stable to afford having a child. I heard of one mom who had 3 kids and refused to put the father's name on the birth certificate so she could get welfare without having to go through child support first. Now the state took the kids away because of her irresponsibility and the father (who can't take the kids because he's too lazy to get a DNA test) had no problem with his kids going into state custody. Why do lower middle class get rewarded for irresponsibility. Another sceanario: Single mother works part-time, is on government aid, drives a Lexus, goes to school for free, and gets breast augmentation with her tax refund. My sceanario: I think it's a sin to have a bastard child, I'm working full time and paying my own way through college and I wouldn't even dare have a child until my husband and I are financial stable enough. Am I the one who's wrong?

    How to sue a plastic surgeon?
    I had a breast lift with augmentation 2 years ago which left me very scarred and uneven. The lift failed after 3 months. She has promised to fix this free of charge 3 times and backed out at the last minute every time! I'm fed up. Any answers?
    Is it possible? I've heard you can't sue a plastic surgeon.

      You can sue her. Go see a lawyer and bring all your paperwork with you. This is malpractice (which mainly means, she screwed up). Make sure you know the dates of the 3 times she promised to fix the problem. At this point, I wouldn't even let her "fix the problem" after being contacted by a lawyer since she backed out already.

      Just make sure the money you are suing for is a reasonable amount. I'd say sue for the original procedure, any pain and suffering you may have received from this experience, money spent planning the "fixing the problem" surgeries that she kept backing out of such as money lost if you called off work, and money you will need to go see a more reputable surgeon to get the situation fixed.

    My friends down becuase his Brother wont do plastic surgery on him .I do try to cheer him up but its to no avail. little background his brother is a plastic surgeon that gets to do 1 free operation a year . He has given his mom a tummy tuck and his step sister breast augmentation .

    My friend has a condition that predisposes him to gaining weight on the middel.yet his brother wont operate on him . He has repeatley done what his brother suggested such as running or trying to eat high protein diets. Since he doesnt make much money eating a high protein diet is expensive .My friend does work out 3 time a week .

    Should my friend accept it and move on ?

    I'm from the Uk, Plymouth and I have heard about Girls having breast augmentations and lipo etc on the NHS for free because it was causing them undue stress and they were unable to function in everyday life. I am 19 almost 20 and I have had severe depression, anxiety disorders and bdd since I was 16. I have a major problem with my eyes/skin and hair. So much so that im on paroxetine because of feeling suicidal because of the things I just said I wear a hood over my face 24/7 and hardly venture out unless i'm with someone, i left school before i sat my gcses and was refered to a psychiatric under 18 unit this problem I have totally causes me stress! in my life and wanting to kill myself most times i'd pay as much as I could towards it (the procedure/s needed)

      Firstly , get back to your GP and ask for a referral to a dermatologist .This will help you establish whether or not there is an actual physiological problem with your skin and hair . If they find there there is no underlying problem then you may well be suffering from " Delusional Dysmorphophobia " .This is the same as BDD in many aspects but the problems only exist in your own mind .Secondly ,If this transpires to be the case then only a good shrink will be able to help you overcome your fear of yourself and you must ask your doctor to arrange for a referral to them also.If on the other hand there is a problem that the derm can treat then you are likely to feel less stressed and anxious once a treatment program to sort things out is underway .Good luck and best wishes .

    Here's all my info: I am 25 yrs old,female,had a breast aug. done about 5 years ago.

    For the past 4 and 1/2 years my armpits have completely taken over my life, I am so embarrassed to do anything. They stink no matter what deodorant I try, whether it's the natural,mens,womens,spray,etc.
    My armpits get these little white bumps that are REALLY smelly, like bad fish smelly,lol, it's awful. I don't know what could be causing this. I have a dermatologist appt set up in a couple months, but was wondering if anyone here could help out? Also, in the scars in my armpits from my breast augmentation, I get A LOT of these bumps, but I get them all over my armpits,not just the scars,so I don't know what's going on. PLEASE HELP?!
    Today I tried washing with Dial *which I always do* but then rubbed them with alcohol free toner..don't know if that was the right thing to do,but...it definitely can not hurt anything..lol

      Maybe the hairs on your armpits are infected. Try a different razor and use a shave cream or hair conditioner on your pits to shave with. The hair conditioner softens the hair and lets you get a closer shave. Maybe this will help with removing all of the hairs when you shave and the hairs won't get infected as bad.
      I am not sure if this is correct but it is worth a try before going to the dermatologist.

      I know, it is totally ridiculous, but thats what you get if you vote labour.     I am going to have a breast augmentation done. Many doctors who have their own practise, it takes a while to get a consultation, and there are normally fees. Now, i called this one place, and the receptionist said the consultation is free and they could get me in in 3 days. She said at the consultation, you see th nurse first. if you decide you want to go ahead with the surgery, you put a 0 deposit down to book your surgery date, THEN you get to meet the surgeon. Usually the doctor who is preforming the surgery meets you at the consultation to tend to your specific needs. Now, I'm not sure if because this is a cosmetic clinic, that whichever surgeon is on call preforms the surgery , or this is how they run their business. They already have a set price for every procedure as well. They have been around for about 20 years now, and are well known. So I'm not sure if i should trust them or not. Someone please help.

      This type of surgery is performed at an Ambulatory Surgi Center. These Docs' choose what days that they perform such procedures at an Outpatient Surgical Center. The surgeon that you consult with is the Doc that will perform your surgery. Cosmetic surgeons kind of set their own operating schedule. Other Docs' affiliated with the practice will have their " on call schedule" so, that any scheduled procedures are performed by the Doc that you consult with.

    Here's the deal. My mother refuses to tell anyone about what's going on with her, especially her health. She has had at least 6 skin cancers removed, she has heart damage from diet pills, she's got something called systemic degenerative disorder, had 2 tummy tucks, an eye lift, and a breast augmentation. That is just the stuff I have managed to find out my being nosy and paying really close attention. I am not a child, I am 33 years old, yet she will not let me know anything. I know her plastic surgeries are not my business and she is free to do what she will, but here's the problem- with all of her health problems, her most recent tummy tuck was a very dangerous procedure. She went home on oxygen (which she is still on, over a week later), with a blood pump and has needed to visit the doctor every day since the surgery. She is angry with me that I found out. She told my sister and my Dad... that's it. Am I right to be angry? And what do I do about it? I cannot confront her because I am terrible at that...Keep in mind, this is the woman who constantly tells me I am fat, a terrible mother, bad with money, she's confused as to why my husband is with me- basically I am terrible at everything... I am torn. On the one hand I want to have a good relationship with her, but on the other, I am so worn down by her, I don't want to be around her...???

      Tought situation...

      It's somewhat similar to my relationship with my own mother (minus the health issues) and even though I have tried to be 'closer', I have settled in being 'neighborly'.

      I avoid touchy subjects at all costs. If asked for my opinion I take maximum precaution in onder to find out if she wants MY opinion, or HER OWN in someone else's mouth.

      At least in my case, it's clear I will not help her change for the better or influence her positively, and in the worst case scenario, she does the exact opposite of whatever I suggested, just to prove she's the toughest cookie in the jar...

      I gave up. I do not give advices myself. If I really, really believe she needs to be advised, I talk to someone who has a better 'connection' with her and ask them to try and help her.

    i admit, there will be a little venting here- feel free to comment with your own venting (keep it clean please) if you wish. is there anything scientific to back up my claim. so many people that are "activists" for something have very ignorant ideas. they see one side of the issue to such an extreme that they are quick to pass judgement on those not sharing their ideas. yes, i understand that not everyone does this. i'll give two examples: 1-an animal activist thought she'd save hundreds of newborn sea turtles trying to make it back to the ocean from the seagulls. doesn't she realize the reason they lay so many eggs is because most of them won't make it back? it's the circle of life- all she did was mess up the food chain in the ocean. 2-i asked a question on breast augmentation here (to fix a problem-not make them huge) and got attacked with"4000 kids die evry day-and this is what you do" 8 billion is spent on make-up in the US a year- i wonder if she wears it-people spend...

    If you ask a dentist to pull out teeth that don't need to be pulled out, would they do it?
    I want my face to be perfectly symmetrical, but my jaw is slightly larger on one side than the other, and I need to get that corrected. I know that when the elderly get dentures and get their teeth pulled out, their cheeks appear to be more sunken. If I got a few teeth pulled out on the side where my jaw is larger, perhaps it would appear smaller.

    If not, I've actually been considering breaking my own jaw. I'll slam my face against a table until it's broken, then perhaps a dentist or surgeon will fix it for free, as I'll say it was an accident. This is very important to me and I won't be comfortable with myself until I look perfect.

    There must be something they can do like when they do breast augmentation. They could open my jaw that's smaller and put a fake muscle or something in there.

      Generally speaking, no. Your dentition is a vital part of your maxillofacial health. Removing teeth simply for the sake of removing teeth for purely cosmetic reasons is medically unconscionable, though I'm sure there are some doctors who would grant your wish for a large sum of money.

      No one's face is perfectly symmetrical. If your jaw protrudes more on one side than the other, you might consider some surgery to shave down the bone on that side of your face but that isn't cheap and you always run the risk of infection and/or magnifying the problem because it is invasive surgery.

    Most say they do. But then the majority of male oriented publications (Playboy, Maxim, etc.) and porn feature mostly women with fake breasts. I don't know what's wrong here: if these publications are not giving men what they prefer, or if men are LYING about the implant thing. I think it's the latter...

    Well, I'm a bit bitter about the issue, considering I'm a small chested girl, and I'll never have surgery, and that some girls with fake breasts are somehow superior in terms of attraction. it's unfair. Plastic surgeons dont do the frist and liposuction is not a lasting solution if your friends condition is going to cause him to regain the fat cells. This condition is it something that puts your friend at a higher risk for complications? The list of possible risk and complications for any surgery can be devestating and if your friend is sick that risk can go up to where the risk out weighs the benfit of the procedure. This doctor has to have a reason for saying no and it is a medical one your friend needs to accept that his brother loves him and dosent want to do him any harm.
