Usually if you have to be a certain age to get a plastic surgery it's 15 so you're in luck but it may be 18 or you may just have to be done with puberty. It's actually very safe, there are a couple problems you may have like the fat might migrate throughout your body but I don't think it's very common, you'll have to find that out somehwere else. From what I heard they just stick a needle in wherever you're getting the fat from and suck it out. Then they put that fat in your boobs, I'm sure that's not all they do but that's the main thing.   Short of breast augmentation (which I hope you will NEVER consider), there is no product that will make your breasts grow bigger.

  You can do some pectoral exercises to make the muscles behind your breasts firmer which will make your breasts appear to be larger but that is about the extent of it.

  If/when you have children, your breasts should grow then as well.

  You mentioned that you are in college but you did not state your age. Your breasts may continue to grow on their own through your early - mid 20's.

  Now that I have delivered the "bad news", let me give you the good news. There are a lot of guys like me who find smaller breasts to be far more sexy and attractive than larger breasts. Please do not take this as a come on but if I were in your age range and in your area, I would probably find you incredibly attractive and, if I was your bf or husband, your breasts would be given all the attention you could possibly desire.

  It's all, unfortunately, a farce. Most the pills or foods they tell you to eat have false estrogen in it. However, for that to 'work' you have to eat so much in excess of it, that it can harm you. Massaging doesn't work either. It might plump your breasts because you're irritating the flesh, but it won't really enlarge them. Even still, exercises don't work either (like pushing them together).

  Chest exercises can bulk up the muscle BENEATH your breasts, giving them the appearance of more lift, but that's about it as far as not gaining weight, getting implants or pregnancy.

I am a 34C and I would like to increase my breast size to either a D or so. Basically the biggest size I can get with my body structure without seeming over the top or attention-seeking.   A is a small cup, hence why its before B.
  30 is a smaller circumference of the chest, which makes boobs seem bigger. 34 is a larger value than 30.

  Do exercises where you feel you chest muscles being worked out.

  It'll help you go from a 34 to a 30 as well, get some fat off.

  - Place your left hand on your left breast (you have to be completely naked for this to work) and massage it in a circular motion (from right to left in a circular motion.

  - While you are doing this place your right hand on your right breast and do the same, but on the right breast masage it from left to right in a circular motion as well.

  Do this every morning and every night for 15 minutes. No more, no less.

  Also, when you are about to begin your massage, rub your hands together really fast so they can be warm when you are going to massage, remember to warm your hands every 5 minutes.

  I also heard that herbs and oil work very well, you just need to apply the oil to your breasts. Eating sesame seeds also help and doing arm workouts make your breast stay firm and not saggy-like.

My hair started falling out somewhere between ages 18-20, and despite always having a lot of heart, will-power, and self-confidence, it has been a very freightening and depressing road.

It has come to the point where I can't leave my house without wearing a hat. In fact, even at home I wear a hat if any of my family or friends are around.

Basically, I find it very disappointing that 'genetic' hair loss is one of the least prioritised and most underfunded medical 'mysteries' out there. I find it even more disappoiting that most of the supposed 'treatments' on the market are complete scams, and that the few that are legitimate such as full-out hair tranplantation are so damned expensive!

And of course... worst of all, it is most disappointing that hair transplant surgery itself isn't covered by insurance because of its 'cosmetic' benefits.

Sure, any surgery that changes the way you look can be considered a "cosmetic" surgery. Like a paint job on a car! And of course, no car insurance provider is going to dish out money for you to get your car repainted, simply because you decided you wanted to try out a new color... but when the little old lady who bought way too many groceries and suffers from arthritis rockets her shopping cart into your car, isn't your insurance provider right there to help you get it fixed?

That's a little bit of an imaginitive analogy but, I mean, it's not exactly like I wanted my hair to fall out!

And sure, if someone like me could argue that hair transplant surgery shouldn't be considered a "cosmetic" surgery, and/or should be at the very least, partially covered by my health insurance... than that's to say the same about ANY self-improving surgery right?

Well... not really... because when it comes to hair transplants, you're dealing with an entirely different level of self-improvement.

For instance, breast implants. Just like penile implants/enhancements, pectoral implants, or botox, you're talking about "improving" or ADDING something that never existed in the first place. You're literally adding objects(made up of various plastics, and chemicals) to your body simply because you didn't like the way your body developed.

Let's face it, this is America... land of the free, home of the greedy. Everyone 'wants' the next best thing... and everyone wants to look better, thinner, cooler, stronger... etc. than everyone else. Right? And if we feel that maybe nature was wrong, and we should have been made well-endowed we can all simply throw thousands of dollars into plastic surgery! (Yay!)

But ...on the contrary... hair-loss sufferers all "used to" have a full head of hair. Every single person, with the exception of those with rare diseases are born with a healthy, growing, full head of hair.   But your notion of not being attractive can change a lot.

  Feeling attractive is not (what most girls start out thinking) to stand in front of the mirror and argue with yourself whether you are or not, and discuss the likeliness or unlikeliness that someone would find you attractive. That is a hopeless discussion, cause you never really know which arguments are valid, and which are just plain paranoia. Plus nobody is really "attracted" to themselves ;o)

  But when for real someone is attracted to you, and you feel it = that is real feeling attractive.

  I don't think there are any doubts more than enough will be attracted to your breasts. A or AA is usually very elegant and beautiful (and extremely feminine).

  The second part is important too - ie. you registering it and accepting it! Maybe already some guys have been very attracted to you, but couldn't get to you, and you not even noticing it. And maybe you have already been with someone, but you just thought it too far-fetched that anybody liked you, so you didn't really take it in.

  All those barriers are normal teen stuff - shyness, or what you want to call it. But 18 is --- well officially still teen a little bit, but also the start of mature/adult etc. You'll get more relaxed and ready to take a chance and accept - and the guys who will go for you, won't give up so easily anymore if you are a little bit reluctant or insecure.

  So I think there is a good chance that you suddenly could find yourself feeling very attractive. So I'd just say you should start opening yourself a little bit, so you are ready to accept someone being attracted to you. That is great fun and very nice, and it will do you a lot of good. Plus if you can accept that, that is about the most womanly you can get - whether you have big or small attributes. It is really the feelings about these things that make the difference, not the amount of fat.

  Also, you may search your soul to see if you would be unnecessarily harsh on someone who wanted you? Would you reject him and think: "You must be weird to be attracted to me!"?

  I mean it is not a catastrophe if you do - I suppose guys have this gene that they want to impress a girl they are interested in ... make her think he is the strongest man in the world, and she should only listen to him. But just so you know that you may well be setting the bar somewhat higher, than some other girls do, for a guy who wants to approach you.

  Then you can perhaps even enjoy it a little extra, when someone does try his luck with you against a little harder odds ;o)

  You can also ask yourself: ok, so can't understand how anyone could find your breasts attractive ... but it doesn't really sense why anyone would find a pair of bigger ones attractive either, does it? It is just an assumption that everybody would.

  Personally, I find breasts of your class the most attractive. I am not quite objective, because my wife has that too - but the point is, there is no such thing as objectivity when it comes to attraction. That is all about feeling and accepting.

  It makes you extra attractive if you can accept - and I guarantee you, no guy would be angry with you if you get happy, because HE likes you. On the contrary, that is close to the ultimate male acheivement. ;o)

  So no harm in getting happy about it that way ;o) You just prepare yourself by being ready to accept. Then you really have a lot to give. To him, as well as to yourself (not to forget).

  So break off the discussion with yourself in front of the mirror. That's lonely, and will never lead you anywhere ;o)

We are looking for a good plastic surgeon to do large (not OTT!) breast implants for my partner. Probably a DD cup or so. We live in Ireland and it would be preferable if we didn't have to travel too far (Europe would be best, although open to suggestions if a particular surgery is exceptional and price is reasonable).
She currently has 340 cc silicone implants making her a C cup or so. We contacted our last surgeon (in Poland) about getting larger ones but he said he doesn't do large implants in his surgery. We saw a surgery in California ( Dr Pousti) who specialises in larger implants i.e. 500 cc or 600cc but cost of implants are around 7000 dollars, not including price of flights and accommodation in California, so that would be quite pricey.
Here in Ireland is quite pricey as well as far as I know, but it would be so much easier since it would save on the travel.
In Poland for the 340cc's we paid €2400 and it was a pretty good job. We understand it's a slightly more complicated job for larger ones so therefore might cost a bit more, but Poland as an example worked out quite well because of travel distance and cost, accommodation etc.
We would greatly appreciate any info or recommendations, thanks.

  Well first off, I'll give you my personal answer. I'm more attracted to medium sized breasts. A solid 32-BB to C sized cup is just fine for me. Anything larger than that is just an added bonus. And the only thing that really turns me off about implants are the scars they leave behind. Otherwise, I'm cool with them.

  So why are guys actually aroused by breasts? Even experts can only venture a guess. But by looking at other primate species we can sort get an idea about humans. In many primate species it is not uncommon for a female in heat (or even a female who's just trying to get something through sex) to expose her genitals to a male. This tells the male that the female is ready for sex. You also have more extreme cases like bonoboes that have crazy wild sex pretty much every minute they possibly can.

My boyfreind want's me to get breast implants what should I do?
I have natuarully large breast 36 D and that's what attracted him in the first place
but no that EVERYONE has implants he thinks I should get them too since (everyone already think's I'm fake)
I was initally against the idea but I feel so fake that girl's who do have implants have breast smaller then mine! So since everyone has them Why not?

  I had mine done almost a year ago and I am happy with what I have but I think that the longer you have them, the smaller they seem to you. Everyone that I know always says they wish they would have went bigger. I am very small framed so I didnt want huge. I think I am proportioned very nicely now. I have never had anyone say anything bad about mine. Guys of course notice and I will say that your self confidence will go up!! I dont regret a thing. Just make sure to take care of the scars so they fade quickly.

  pretty worth it but make sure you look at your doctors work first and be picky about where you get under the line of the nipple is great b/c it leaves like no scare at all it just blends right in however not all surgeons can do this but if yours can you probably dont want him anyway ppl think that this will lead to loss of nipple sensation b/c it touches on the nipple however it is by far less likley to than below the brest on throught the arm pit b/c there is a nerve right there and going through the belly button is rediculous b/c if you need to have it fixed b/c it becomes hard due to internal scarring then they cant fix that through your belly button and you'll get a scar anyways hope this was informitive good luck!!

I am very muscular, but not the big bulgy, veiny kind- more like smooth, compact muscles like a dancer or a swimmer would have. (I am also very curvy).

I am also tall- 6 feet tall in bare feet. I have a broad chest due to a large ribcage, and I just don't think average sized, B or C cups would look right on me- I would look like a male with a hormonal problem.

Also, I have experimented with different bra sizes and I am most happy with DD or DDD/F sized breasts- they don't look all that big on my large frame.

I don't think I would be happy with smaller implants, so I want to just go straight to the bigger implants from the get go.

  Because of your large frame, I can see why you want the larger implants. But - how much can your skin stretch to accomodate this large size? Have you ever watched Dr. 90210 on tv and seen the problems they have trying to get a C implant into a small-chested girl? It sounds like you need to talk to a couple of different plastic surgeons, and get some professional opinions. You may have to start out with a B, and then after a couple of years when your skin has stretched out, upgrade to the larger size. Good luck.

  Honestly, I prefer small breasts over large ones, natural or not.
  I think that the only time someone should get a boob job is when they want to get them reduced from an ungodly large size to something better for their body or health.
  I have small boobs. A cup as well. And honestly, I find that the clothing I wear looks a LOT better on me simply because I have smaller breasts. I find that people with larger breasts (for me, anything over a C cup, which even then is pushing it for me, is large. I find them unattractive and kind of gross) tend to look worse in shirts. On girls with smaller breasts, the shirts tend to just kind of.. hang off of them nicely, you know? I mean, I would rather be completely flat chested than have Pam Anderson tits haha.

  Imagine a girl with large breasts in THAT! I honestly hate seeing cleavage. With this picture though, her chest is small enough to pull off wearing something like that without looking somewhat trashy.

  Not saying that having big boobs naturally is gross, or bad. It just tends to be harder to get the chest area to look tasteful when they are so big.

  If you want to get breast implants, it's your choice. But really, think about how much money it will be, and then consider what will happen if you end up disliking them. Is it really worth it?
  Oh and, a boob job can look completely natural, as long as it was done properly (That's why in Hollywood, only the surgery disasters are well known for getting surgery - like Posh Spice - while others may never be outed because the surgery was done really well.

  To Charlotte M's comment: Being in an all-girls gym class, this is something that I know very well. All the girls with even only somewhat large breasts had to hold them down with their wrists while running. It looked SOOOO funny, and I always felt better that I was pretty much one of very few that was able to run without looking like I had issues.

  To Lexi's comment: They actually are supposed to be "tuned up" on average every 10 years or so. So imagine, getting implants before the age of 30, and let's say that you live until you are 90. If you wanted to keep the implants for the rest of your life, you would have to get them surgically updated around 6 times. Is that really worth it?

How were your breast implants after pregnancy?
I wanted to know of your experiences or anyone else's experiences that you know of who have breast implants during their pregnancy & if it affected the implants, size, or shape at all after child birth. Breast feeding or bottle feeding.

  Ok I got implants after my son was born. Then I got pregnant less than a year after having them done. A waiste of $$ I know. lol

  Anyway so my breasts got HUGE during the pregnancy and even bigger right after (when my milk came in), but I was able to successfully breastfeed my baby. It was no harder than breastfeeding my 1st child.

  As far as how they LOOKED... well like I said I was less than a year into having them done when I got pregnant SO before I got pregnant they were very perky and "perfect" in my eyes (no sagging, etc. at all).

  During the pregnancy they just got BIG.

  Immediately following the pregnancy they got even BIGGER (because I had milk- as you will even if you don't breastfeed)

  AFTER I quit breastfeeding (now) the size went back down and they were a bit more "saggy"... but not bad AT ALL! They still look a lot better than any of my friends who have had babies and do not have implants. They are full and haveplenty of "tissue" or (implant -lol) in them. My husband actually likes them better now because before he said they looked fake and felt fake.Now he says they look real and feel real. ALSO - they are still more perky than any women I know with a NATURAL D or DD cup size.

  Don't stress. The implants will keep your breasts from losing all shape and form after the milk is gone! I still absolutely LOVE mine and am SO glad they don't look like they did after my 1st was born (no tissue and VERY saggy).

  Its recomended that you have them replaced every 10 years. I had mine done last Sept and need them redone again because they are uneven. They have also dropped too much.

  I suggest you start with losing the weight. If you got the implants now and then lost weight, your skin might stretch or sag around the implants and not look right. Start by losing weight through exercise and diet. Make sure that some of your exercise routine works out the pectoral muscles, like doing pushups or lifting weights, since bigger pecs will make your breasts look bigger. And then when you're at your desired weight, then look into the cosmetic surgery.

  I am 5'5 125 lbs and I got breast implants last year. They are 32 DD. I remember right before I fell asleep telling the dr not to go too big. now I regret it. I should have went just alittle bit bigger. But most drs will not decide for sure until they are actually in there. Everyone is different and has different amounts of elasticity in their skin. I'd say go alittle bigger than you think you want, ive heard most people regret not going bigger. However this surgery sucks!!! I couldnt do anything for 3 days and even then it took me almost a month to be able to bend over without them hurting when they moved.   Hi - I had this surgery in January of this year. There were two sites that I found enormously helpful (listed below). Do not hesitate to tell your surgeon that you need more information. It's not too late to ask. Please, please take care of yourself. You only get one chance to heal properly.

  In the meantime, here are some key things you should definitely do now.

  1) Try not to lift anything over 7 pounds for the next 3-4 weeks. Definitely do not lift things that need to be placed above your head. This means try not to lift babies if you have them. Have somebody help you put dishes away, etc.

  2) Rest. Your body is healing and needs all the rest it can get.

  3) Eat a healthful diet. I followed the Healing Diet that you will find on the sites below. Basically, this means lean protein, leafy vegetables, dark vegetables (red, orange, green - like broccoli, red bell peppers, etc.) and plenty of fresh fruit, especially pineapple because it has bromelain which promotes healing.

  4) Sleep on your back for at least the next 3 months. Try placing pillows along side your body to make sure you don't turn during the night.

  you will do fine. my reduction was my first surgery too. they gave me lots of pain killers while i was in recovery and the 23 hours afterward. my only issue was nauseousness from the anesthesia.
  the drive home was a little painful. i reclined the seat in the middle row of my mom's minivan since i couldn't put on a seat belt. every bump and turn hurt, but once i was home, i laid in a recliner and was good.

  Drainage tubes are used in the outdated forms of breast reduction surgery, so you should be fine in that area. I went back to university after 1.5 weeks and back to one job after 3 and the other after 3.5 weeks. Everyones recovery will vary depending on the level of skill that your surgeon has to your own personal healing time. I was still in pain when I started back at work.

  You will need to pace yourself and take it easy. I thought I was all healed until I performed 2 full body massages at my work last weekend( I am a Beauty Therapist). I started to feel pain in my breasts and have since been in pain for the last week.

  I would look at getting a doctors certificate to cover you for at least 2 weeks after your surgery.
  My surgeon told me that the average recovery time is 3 weeks for reductions

My girlfriend is a 42DDD. At 5'5" she looks matronly and overly top heavy. She'd look SO much better with a reduction. She's scared that even though she always has back pain that insurance won't cover this surgery, and that the recovery time and pain level with be excessive. Anyone that has had this surgery, can you advise on this?

  I went through a breast reduction in the past (Feb 2006, 38J to 38C) and I don't regret it one bit.

  She should be off work for two weeks UNLESS she has a very physical job, then it should be at least a month, depending on how well she recovers and how physical her job is.

  It will take some time for her incisions to close, maybe 2 months, so PLAY NICE! You will LOVE her new perky breasts!

  My fiance was very supportive of me during my recovery and I hope you will be just as supportive of her. She should not lift any heavy objects for several weeks.

  I was in NO PAIN after the surgery, and did not need my pain prescription the doctor gave me.

  first off, you are a very good candidate.

  this girl had a very large chest, and she was developing back problems from it. (she was in her late twenties...) now she still is still trying to build her strength back from before the reduction (in her back). she told me that she would have done it earlier if she hadn't been so scared of the thought.

  it can be a painful procedure, but usually the recovery time isn't that long. it would be longer if you were getting implants...

  in my opinion, i would rather undergo a large amount of pain for 3 or 4 days than have to live with back problems for the rest of my life.

  the choice is totally up to you though. if you feel like it affects your daily life then yes, you should definitely consider it.

  Depends what you do for work. If it is a desk job probably a week to a week 1/2.
  My surgury hurt like hell for about 4 days but then subsided pretty quickly after that. When I woke up from the anestecia I was in so much pain I wished I didn't get it done but in the long run it is definately worth it. I got mine done at Mass. General in Boston, my dr. wanted me to stay the night, I said no before my surgery but when I woke up I told them I wanted to stay so I could keep getting my morphine shots but they already gave my room away.
  Also, I got my implants put in through my armpits and maybe that is more painfull because you can't really move your arms at all rather than if I got them put in through my ariola or under my breast.

  Congrats!!! I had reduction surgery in Feb '06 and LOVED it! I went from a 38J to a 38C.

  Do you have someone to care for you and your kids? (Hubby?) You shouldn't be picking up your kids for a few weeks. NO heavy lifting, NO cleaning the house, NO laundry doing. Get your hubby or kids if they are old enough to do it.

  You will not regret it. Make sure you follow your doctors orders. ANY questions at ANY time you call your doctor up and ask.

  I don't know what all you read about it but it will take a bit to heal. After surgery you will be dealing with some ugly bruising (go to amazon and buy 'arnica montana', they are little pills that you take according to the box and it will help with bruising a lot). You will be swollen for quite some time. Do not worry if you still think you are big because it takes up to a YEAR to get to your final healed size! If you still feel you are big talk to your doctor about it.

  You should be off work for two weeks. More if you are in a very active occupation.

  Well, not quite. I had a breast lift. Pretty much the same incisions.

  A little background: I had lost a lot of weight and had several surgeries to remove extra skin. I had a tummy tuck and the extra skin on my arms removed at the same time. The breast lift was done a couple of months after that. My plastic surgeon (who was WONNNNNderful) told me before my breast surgery that I would have very little pain. She knew I had something to compare it to.

  Even though she told me that, I was really surprised how little pain there was. It was done on an outpatient basis, and they wrapped my chest in ace bandages and told me to see the doctor in two days.

  I was kind of wondering what would be left, as the surgeon had told me she wasn't sure she could make more than an A cup out of what I had. So when they took the ace bandages off, I looked down at them, very pleased, and said, "They're CUTE!" They are cute, and they are C's, and no 50-something like me should have something that looks like a 20-year-old's, but I deserve it.

  After I recovered from the anesthesia, which makes you really cloudy on surgery day and kind of hungover the next day, I didn't feel any limitations at all. The surgeon gave me pain pills, but I don't think I took them after the second day. They tell you what kind of bra to wear afterward so you don't damage your incisions.

  The incisions for a breast reduction are pretty large, but it isn't like having abdominal surgery where they cut the muscle and it hurts every time you move.

  So, don't plan anything the day of surgery or the day afterward. If you are really pain sensitive and want to take pain pills after the second day, don't plan anything that requires you to drive or think straight. In any case, you shouldn't be off work or school more than a week at worst, unless you get an infection or something.

  But you doctor might tell you different, and your doctor has more than one case to base it on.

  Recovery time is really not all that long. You will need to wear a surgical bra for a while there will be alot of stiches. You wont be able to lift your arms above your head or do any heavy lifting or activity for maybe two weeks. But all in all its not bad.

  Depending on the surgery you might need a tube to drain any fluid buildup. It is usually an overnight stay in hospital then you go home. You will go for a few check-ups.

  Most people dont realize the benefits of breast reduction surgery go way beyond appearence. If there is too much heavy breast tissue it causes back pain, shoulder pain, numbness, stretch marks, sagging, etc.

I am having a breast reduction on the 6th of March, but wanted to visit a friend in America mid April. I know the recovery time is about 2-3 weeks, but I was not sure If I was allowed to fly on a plane so soon.

I am scheduled for surgery on september 2nd, as an outpatient. I eat very healthy with some sweets now and then. I exercise daily, walking at least 2 miles a day, etc. Im 22 years old, don't smoke, drink on occasion. Im really wondering how soon i can get back to work! I work as a nurse assistant-on my feet all day lifting, bending, everything.
hmmm, i guess this was the wrong area to ask this. Recovery will be at least 15-20 hours-then, from what I've read about 2 weeks until I can truly get up and walk around. I was looking for anyone with first hand experience. Plus, why would I have a scar down my stomach when I would be getting surgery on my breasts? I was more interested on the care and treatment of the scars and how noticeable they were, etc.

  i had a breast reduction on a monday (outpatient - in the hospital 23 hours). the following monday i had my first follow up appt where the bandage was removed and any stitches that did not dissolve were taken out. then i went back to work the next day. i wasn't allowed to lift anything more than 5 lbs for 1 month and after that i had to increase and i felt was comfortable. at 1 month i was able to go back to the gym only doing non-bouncing activities like treadmill and stationary bike. at 3 months i was able to resume all activities as normal.
  scars are barely visible at about 9 months post surgery. (there are no scars on your stomach)

  First hand experience! I went from a G cup (seriously!) to a D in December of 2004. The surgeon took off 13 pounds from me - he said it was the largest he had ever done. I had three compressed vertebrae, was in constant pain and was tired of being gawked at. By far the best thing I've ever done. I was off work for three weeks. The first couple of days are painful, especially if you drainage tubes. Because the tubes are inserted into you, shifting positions can make you sore. They give you narcotic painkillers and your best bet is rest. I propped myself up on pillows, watched movies and just slept. My surgery was performed on Friday. My drainage tubes were removed on Wednesday (warning, when they pull them, it hurts like hades, but only briefly, once they're gone, the pain is pretty much over!). I took painkillers on Wednesday and Thursday morning. After that, it was plain Tylenol! I was a bit tired, but it really didn't hurt. Because of the stitches, they don't want you exercising or lifting anything. My Mum came to stay with me and took care of everything.

  The relief in my back was immediate. Within two weeks post-surgery, my vertebrae had completely decompressed. I do have some scarring on my sides and underneath because he removed a huge amount of tissue, but the results are so stunningly beautiful! I still look in the mirror all the time and admire them, they're perky and cute! Its amazing how wonderful it feels to have someone look in my eyes when they're talking to me now. Good luck to you!   If you plan good, you will not need to worry about someone caring for you after your surgery. You should not drive for a week afterwards though.

  You are on light duty for at least two weeks (more if you have an active physical job) and it will take a month or so to get back into the normal routine.

  You should take it easy until you are 100% certain your incisions are closed.

  I had it Feb 2006 and went from a 38J to a 38C and don't regret it one bit!

  As for restrictive wear, you would have to consult with your PS. I didn't have to wear ANY restrictive clothing. The only reason I did is because I was allergic to the adhesive that was holding my bandages against my incisions, thus I wore a front closing bra (that I got from the site below!). If it weren't for that, my doctor said I could go braless during my recovery.

  I definetley know how you feel. I am 23 now, and I had a breast reduction when i was 18. I was a DD by the age of 16, and was having the same neck and back pain as you. The procedure wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and I have never once regretted my decision. I am the biggest baby when it comes to pain, and it really wasn't that bad; it was actually worse to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out at once than this surgery. Im not really sure as to go about finding a good doctor in your area. I live in New Jersey right outside of New York City so I was recommended to a great doctor here by a family friend who had work done by this doctor. The post-surgery really wasnt that bad, it was uncomfortable and you couldn't use any strength in your arms or upper body because it requires use of you pecks, but only for about 2-3 weeks. After one week I was pretty much able to go back to work/ school as long as I didn't carry anything heavy or use much physical upper body strength. They will put you in a very tight sports bra type of bra with front closures right after your surgery and you will wear that for a couple of days before having your post-op visit with your doctor, which is when they will change it. The stitches will freak you out at first, but as soon as they come out and your scars start healing you will be very happy. I think that it is 100% worth it as it is the best decision I have ever made. Just be sure to take the pain killers that they give you and the recovery won't be as bas as they say. This was actually my second breast reduction surgery- my first one was a "liposuction" type of procedure where they thought they could suction out fat from my breasts, but it turned out that I didn't have much fat, it was all tissue- so I have quite a lot of experience with breast reductions.   i had a reduction. i was an F beforehand. i asked to be a C. about 6 weeks after surgery, i was still a D. the doctor kept telling me there was still more swelling to go down. it never did. i can fit into C bras, but am more comfortable in D. i was disappointed but still happy with the results.
  i would give it 3 months before getting completely concerned. it did take some time for the swelling and bruising to go down.

I won't comment on how "dangerous" the surgery is, because that's a serious conversation for you to have a with a doctor, but it is obviously a very common procedure.. The one suggestion I have for you, based on the many people I know who have had it done, is don't price-shop for a surgeon. Cheap surgery = bad surgery, and you should have your new boobs for the rest of your life. Do it right or don't do it at all. If your with a girl, and she's going to get breast implants, and me and my friends agree- thats gross... (I could never date a girl with breast implants unless she had like breast cancer or something), do you say something to her? Just break up with her? or what?

I'd feel bad saying something- because you should be free to do what you want with your body- but at the same time I really don't think i could be with a girl that got breast implants. i'm a guy, and personally i hate fake boobs. they're not fun, they almost always look fake, which, to me, is very unattractive, and yeah, they're a waste of money.

i can only see this being a useful thing if you're breasts are so small that you it makes you very insecure, so much that even seeing a therapist cannot help you find peace.
