     Try laying down and they fall into your armpits, they your significat other rolls over on one with their elbow... just imagin that pain.
     How about trying to find a shirt that fits....See now days they makes clothes for skinny tiny girls. Not girls with boobs, unless you are shopping in the old lady section. If you by a shirt in a medium or small, your boobs do not fit, if you get a large...guess what... it looks like your swimming in it everywhere else.
     If you go on a job interview.. their very hard to cover up and look conservitive, looks like your trying to smuggle canolopes to your interview, then everyone pays to much attention to your boobs.
     I think you are fine just the way you are. God intented for you to be that way. Why do want to take the chance of some doctor messing with a perfectly good body? What happends if you do not wake up from the anesthesia? You are aware that some people never wake back up right? Is that worth boobs? What if he messes up, what if you get really bad scare tissue? What if one pops? Can your heart take the surgery? You have a lot of questions to ask yourself before you should ever consider doing this. And I hate to tell you this, but if you want boobs to make yourself look better, you really need to work on your self esteem. A true person does not care what you look like on the outside, but the inside, and you should focus on that before doing just a life altering change.

They cut right down to muscle and shove a foreign object into your body... its an incredibly invasive and painful procedure, I don't think you'd be able to do it (like you wouldnt be able to handle it AND the doctor wouldnt agree to do it) if you were awake!

    Breast augmentation at 18?
    I want to get breast implants at 18 because my breasts sagged after losing weight when I was younger. I have between grade 2 and 3 ptotis so it's pretty much as bad of sagging you can get. I have a C cup but I've seen a lot of breast implants and lifts over the years. The lifts never look as good and my breasts don't have a lot of volume. So I figure, implants are cheaper, quicker, they look better and they scar less. So it's a win-win. So what I was wondering is it possible to just get a big enough implant with something like a crescent lift to get rid of the sagging? Otherwise, I would need a ton of scarring from a lollipop lift. I plan to go to a DD because that way, my breast would be in proportion with my body (I'm tall and muscular so I won't come out looking like Pam Anderson). I wouldn't really want to go much bigger. I'm not going to get saline ones when they don't look that great and I can't wait until I'm 22.

    Please do not post don't get plastic surgery, just get a lift or "You'll be fake." I deserve to have a nice looking body after what I had to go through to get it. I gained weight on medication and it took a while to lose it.

      I have visited hospitals in Daqing and Harbin, But not Shanghai. I found them to be dirty, overcrowded and well below western standards. I saw inpatients who's beds were lined up head to toe in the hallway, that was their "room". The families had to bring them food from home. You didn't need a sign to tell you where the toilets were, the smell was like the worst "porta-potty" at a sports event. If you wanted "good" care it is wise to "tip" everyone involved, head nurse, anesthesiologist and doctor. The equipment was far from current issue. Perhaps the hospital in Shanghai is much better, but as for me, no thanks to surgery in China.

      The best place for a nose job in my opinion is the USA. You could have it in a foreign speaking country, but there are so many boundaries (language?) and its so much more complicated locating a good surgeon.
      I'm from the UK, over here it seems we have about 3 really good plastic surgeons that have waiting lists of MONTHS, but they are all really really expensive. Of course you could get it done on the NHS if you cant breath properly, but from what I've heard the surgeons arent the most talented with making the nose look good.
      USA isn't dirt cheap, but its cheaper than it would be over in the UK, i presume because its so much more common in the USA. Especially in places such as california/beverly hills. Most of the big plastic surgeons in those areas have online portfolios so you can see photos of their previous work (which most forgeign surgeons don't have).

    If you take a few friends that are wanting breast augmentation you can get a 'group rate.'.

      If you really want to save money on medical care, you need to find a place with good medical care, but low salaries. I live in the Philippines, and medical care is dirt cheap here. In fact, medical tourism is a thriving industry.

      What might cost you ,000 in the USA may cost less than ,000 here. Add the cost of a flight and hotel, and you get a vacation thrown in with your savings. Not a bad deal.

      Here are some costs that you may use for reference:

      These are just some prices that I know to be accurate. All of these are without any help from insurance coverage. Before you stop and say, "Well that's the Philippines. The quality of care cannot be as good as in the US," keep in mind that a high proportion of medical care professionals in the USA are Filipino. They get trained here, and then travel the world to work.

      The reason medical care is so cheap here is threefold. One, wages are much lower in the Philippines, as is the cost of living. For example, I live in a nice, secure 2BR/2BA townhouse-style apartment for 0 per month. Second, this is not a litigious society, so lawsuits (and malpractice insurance) are at a minimum. Third, cost of education here is a mere fraction of the cost in the US. For example, a four-year nursing school here costs only 5 per semester. Compare that to the six-figure bill that someone acquires in the US for the same education.

      All-in-all, this is why you can get a similar-quality level of care for so much less money. Now, back to the Las Vegas question. You have to ask yourself, "How can they afford to charge less than everyone else? What is their economic advantage over other practicioners in Las Vegas and elsewhere?"

      The only thing you can identify here would be volume. Hence, a "group rate" is all about volume. I'm not sure that I would want to trust my health to a provider who cares more about doing a high volume of work at discount rates. I am just going to be a number to this person.

      A reputable surgeon is going to ensure that every client receives quality care. This can't be provided if you don't have time to spend with each client. If you have to cut your client contact time by 20% to maintain your volume, it is the client who loses.

    i got my boobs done..?
    they were like a larger B cup (maybe small c) before my surgery, and now they are big ds. (almost double ds). i thought i wanted big boobs, but now after having them, i am tired of them bursting out of ALL my shirts, and having everyone constantly stare at them.       I'd say around the same maybe a bit more, but you will be left with a few scars, you could always get bigger shirts to fit your new boobs, bigger boobs can be faltering, make sure you are totaly sure about getting them removed so that your not waisting more of your money.

      Well, I personally don't believe that such a therapy exists. Of course, a therapist could make her understand that breast augmentation may provide some short term emotional satisfaction, but long term benefits, such as higher self esteem, is usually not manifested.

      And, as a friend, I suggest that you should try to accept her decisions, rather than attempting to impose your will or your biases on her.

      Of course, you can talk to her about the pros and the cons, if she wants to discuss them. But, it is her decision. Let her do what she wants.

      I really don't believe that theory about the psychotherapy. I always wanted implants because in school, the girls with bigger boobs got more attention but when i got mine finally, now almost a D cup, I almost wish they were a bit smaller. I think it would be good to tell her about how implants feel like soccer balls and while most men like to look at them, they don't want to fall asleep at night on soccer balls instead of pillows. Also, see if you can find something, a magazine or blog where men say that they prefer natural medium sized breasts. It's tough being a girl and always being compared to "bigger and better". Just keep telling her how beautiful she is.

    I am a very attractive petite woman of african- american ancestory, hispanic, french and indian also. I hate that i have these ugly stretchmarks on my belly and the brown linea nigra line as well from when i had a baby 17 years ago ughhhh!!!! also i have a hypertrophic scar on my areola from a breast augmentation as well as another on my forehead that i want to get rid of. The scar on my breast is slightly raised and feels ropey like and their is a lack of pigmentation there also.     I had a breast augmentation in 2005. I have the pip implants I hear you have to have these removed asap then I hear there fine unless ruptured? I read there are many indications of rupture, but I also read they can rupture with out any signs? I went the docs and asked to be referred for an ultra sound, he told me I will have to go private!     I am getting breast augmentation in a month and have already chosen a plastic surgeon. Just recently, I was told that I should go to another plastic surgeon in the same area because he is much cheaper. The one I am going to costs 00, but this other doctor costs only 00 for same procedure and implants. It is tempting to switch, but I already feel very comfortable with the doctor that I have chosen. My first question-why would there be such a huge difference in cost? And-how can I research them both to see which one is better?
    Okay, I am doing some online research and the more expensive doctor is not listed with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons on www.plasticsurgery.org, but the cheaper doctor is. However the more expensive doctor is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery? Is the pretty much the same thing?
    I know one person that got her's done by the more expensive doctor and one person who got her's done by the cheaper doctor and they are both happy with the results.
