After you take off the tons (sorry, I meant pounds!), there are still some problems with your body, and some of them involve your sagging bust. Do you remember that song, "Do your boobs hang low?"
Yes, it's a stupid, juvenile kids' song, but it has a kernel of truth for those of us who have just lost the weight. Sure, you want them big and full. But you don't want them hanging around your belt buckle.
Your bust can also sag due to the effects of gravity, pregnancy and breast feeding. A breast lift can return it to its former position, creating a more youthful appearance. This is why so many women choose to get a breast lift after weight loss.
The Problem - Ptosis
It's wonderful when you've finally lost all that weight. The problem is that the skin of your breasts loses its elasticity when you put on weight. It is actually a medical condition called "ptosis."
Unfortunately, the skin doesn't snap back to its original state when you lose the pounds. You are left with extra skin and tissue that you don't need. Droopy boobs can damage your self esteem and keep you dreaming about how wonderful they COULD have been. Let's get rid of those pre-weight loss leftovers right away.
The Firm Breast Solution - Mastopexy
Plastic surgery can help, and mastopexy is the answer. Unfortunately, breast augmentation has a negative image associated with it. Gradually, this is changing as more and more women choose mastopexy to add the finishing touch to their total weight loss program. Augmentation isn't just for shallow (but really attractive!) movie stars anymore.
There are several different types of mastopexy procedures. Most involve making several tiny incisions and tightening the areas of skin around the areola (the dark area around the nipple). Your plastic surgeon will do some readjusting underneath, tightening this and removing that. The idea is to get your bust flatter, more natural looking, and sag-less.
A good plastic surgeon will make the smallest incisions possible so that scarring doesn't show. Cuts are made following the natural shape of the bust to minimize visible scarring. The procedure takes just a couple of hours, using general anesthesia. You'll be finished and heading home in no time.
You'll have some pain for the first few days, and you won't have complete feeling in your breasts for several weeks. The recovery period is short as long as you follow your doctor's instructions. You're almost as good as new in 2 to 3 weeks, and in 6 to 8 weeks you will be totally back to normal, with full feeling in your breasts.
I'm Ready for My Breast Lift... What Do I Do?
The first step is to go in for a consultation. Talk to a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon in your area. See pictures of their work, with before and after photos. They will tell you all of the risks involved, and you can ask them any questions that you have. Go to a plastic surgeon today and get those breasts lifted back to where they should be.

QUESTION:
Breast Lift operation before or after giving birth?
Breast Lift operation before or after giving birth?
Hello Mothers out there, Please help me with this difficult question!!!!
Before i got pregnant i never liked my breast but it was a fairly average size and shape (size 34b) but i never felt comfortable with it. (I never even like standing naked looking at my breasts)9months ago,i gave birth to my lovely daughter and it also ballooned to a size 38dd.
I stopped breast feeding 3months ago and my breast has reduced to almost it old size (38c) but my breast went from an ok look to NO NO look. It is very sagging and my nipples are pointing down.
I am seriously considering Breast surgery. But i have a few questions.
I will like to have another child in 1year time but i don't know if it is better to have the surgery after i have stop having children (so i don't have to worry about it sagging again due to breast feeding and that is or having to go back for more surgery) or if it is ok to have the surgery and still have another baby later?
And can i breast feed when i have had the surgery and have another child?
Please i want a good advice from another one that has been in my situation or is going through it now.
I am almost 30years old and never liked my breast and please don't advice me in getting a wonder bra instead of having surgery.
Await your honest respond-
ANSWER:
Hi, not sure what is totally involved with a breast lift?? Do they put in implants? I had breast enhancement surgery about 5 years ago. I was a 34A. This was after I had my son, who is now 10. I now have a 11 month old baby and had no problems whatsoever breastfeeding her. (I breastfed both my kids). If you are getting implants, I don't think you will need to worry about sagging if you do it now, then have another baby later. Obviously only being a 34A, I never had sagging, lol, but I am now a 34C, and they are just as perky as before. So all in all, I would go ahead and do it. I was very concerned when I got it done, that I wouldn't be able to breastfeed, that was very important to me, but my Dr said I should be able to, and he was right.

QUESTION:
If I get a breast lift before I have children, will I be able to breast feed?
I am 21yrs old and my boobs now sag after loosing 75 pounds. I want my breast lift now!! I was going to wait until I have all my kids and I'm like almost 30 but..I don't want to.Will I still be able to breastfeed?
After I have kids do u think my boobs will sag again?
How much does it cost?-
ANSWER:
Supposedly, the newer procedures for breast lifts and reductions do not interfere with your ability to breastfeed. I however am still cautious and nervous about it. I'm waiting until after I have my kids. I'm also waiting because I'm sure they'll sag some more and I'll just want to do it all over again! No idea about cost, I'm sure it varries between docs and parts of the country, as many medical costs do.

QUESTION:
Can you still breast feed after having a breast lift and augmentaion?
I'm 19 and I have a deformity on my breasts, I really want to get cosmetic surgery to fix it as soon as I can afford it, however I;m worried about what will happen when I get pregnant, if I can breast feed amd the fact that my breasts will grow much bigger with the implants I would already have and I'm not sure if they will look good after my breasts go down later. Does anyone know anyone who has had a lift and implants before they had children? and they breatsfeed successfully? also how they looked after? I'm just not sure if I should wait or not, but I'm so self contious I'm not even sure I could "make" a baby cause I would be to embarressed of what I would look like.... You woman out there hopefully know what I am saying!!!!!-
ANSWER:
I have breast implants and had milk production after the birth of my son. However, since my implants are of silicone gel, I chose not to breastfeed him, fearing he might ingest some of it. Women normally lose some volume in their breast size after breastfeeding, so I think you should wait until after having a child for the best cosmetic outcome.

QUESTION:
How long does it take for your breast to drop after breast lift and or augmentation?
What can you do to ensure they drop correctly? How long before they look and feel normal?-
ANSWER:
It is true, that is different with each patient, usually after 6 weeks the swelling should get down, but the scars and the final shape of the breast will start to show up after that time. Here (go to the end of the article where it says results) you can read more about it http://www.aestheticandplastic.com/procedures/augmentation-mammoplasty.html

QUESTION:
What would be better, a breast reduction or breast lift?
Happy new year everyone.
I am definitely making big changes this year, one of the biggest being my decision to have something done with my breasts. I am done with these big boobies. Done. Done. Done. I've been wanting a breast reduction for the longest time now, but I'm still in the early process. I go back for another appointment on Tuesday, to look over my spine x-rays and take the next step. My doctor agreed to refer me to a plastic surgeon, but she wanted me to get x-rays, so we could rule out any other issues that could be causing my back pain. (Which is obviously due to the heaviness of my breasts).
But, my sister's best friend recently put another thought into my mind- a breast lift. I'm 18 years old, and my friend doesn't think I should get a reduction, but a breast lift instead. She thinks that I am too young for a breast reduction, and fears for me that I won't be able to breast feed when I have children someday...(because I do want children, and I do want to breastfeed... even though I wouldn't mind if I end up not ever breastfeeding) She says that with a lift, I could get the perkiness that I want without having to cut away at my boobs too much, I guess. I really don't know. I've seen tons of photos of breast reduction and lifts before and after- and I honestly couldn't tell the difference with half of them.
Which would you recommend? Right now I am a 40 DD according to when I got measured a few months ago. My weight also flucuates and I am sure that I'll lose more weight soon. Maybe too much that I won't even qualify for a breast reduction? I'm currently 175 lbs.
As I said before, my appointment is Tuesday, so any advice would be great.
Thank you!
@Jets- Right, but even if I do get a lift, won't they sag if I end up breast feeding? That would just defeat the whole purpose.-
ANSWER:
A reduction. You can actually get a lift done at the same time. You can ask your surgeon if you think you need one. Definitely lose the weight you want to before the surgery. Boobs can get smaller with weight loss. Also, you dont want to get a reduction, then lose the weight and have them get too small or saggy! You may not be able to breastfeed after the surgery. However, girls with big boobs usually can't breast feed anyway because the baby suffocates in all that extra boob. I had a reduction from a 28G to a D. I feel much much better, especially my back, but even my shoulders and neck because my posture has improved.

QUESTION:
How much pain after breast lift and augmentation? When should I return to work?
Hi ladies! I have done a lot of research already and have talked to my surgeon but would like some insight from women who have actually had this procedure before I made a definitive decision and put in for time off.I am having a breast lift and augmentation surgery in April and am wondering the following:
1) How much pain I should expect (obviously everyone is different but just the opinions of anyone who has had this surgery, both lift AND augmentation together, would be great!). Also, how much help will I need with bathing/moving around; etc (so I can let my fiancee know what he's in for, haha)
2) When I should realistically return to work after surgery. Here is some additional info incase it makes a difference....
-The lift and augmentation(implants) will be done at the same time, it is a Bilateral mastopexy with augmentation.
-I am already a small C cup (with slight assymetry which will be corrected) and will be going to a full D cup.
-I have lost a significant amount of weight (115lbs) which is the reason for the lift so I have a good amount of skin and breast tissue, although I'm not sure if this will affect my amount of pain/recovery time.
-Also, my job is relatively sedentary. I am a manager of a home for adults with DD and do mostly administrative work but also need to occasionally assist with hands on work (assiting with dressing residents, giving them showers; etc) and I am worried in case one of my residents bumps into me or tries to grab me or hug me too hard that I will be in a ton of pain or cause damage. I would obviously take it easy for the first month and not do as much physical stuff, but how long should I be worried about someone bumping into me or things like that?Any intelligent input would be appreciated, thank you!

QUESTION:
Breast implant removal what happens to your natural breast after removal ? no smart ass answers please?
I was a natural C before surgery, will my natural breast be the same size. and will I need a breast lift ?-
ANSWER:
Implants stretch your skin, a lot actually. So when you remove the implants you are going to be deflated looking and probably saggy (not trying to be rude, I just couldn't think of other words!) So yes, you will probably need a lift.

QUESTION:
Is it bad to get a breast reduction/ lift now if I want to have children in a few years?
I'm only in college but I have suffered from back pain for many years already. But would it be pointless to have the surgury before kids? I mean your breasts get bigger and then can sag after breast feeding so, wouldn't it just make the surgury pointless?-
ANSWER:
It definitely won't be pointless, especially considering your back pain issues.I had a reduction done last year and am still planning on having kids. I have no more back pain due to my breasts so it is definitely not pointless.

QUESTION:
Have you had an infection after a breast lift and implants?
Of course I have already paged my surgeon three times, but I would just like to know if this has happened to other people. The surgeon had told me to cut the tape away from the incisions as they started to lift, which I did. I didn't take any off early, in fact, before he told me that, I was putting more tape to hold it on.
This morning I could see there was puss (don't know if that is the proper spelling) under the tape above my nipple. It was barely holding on, so I peeled it back. It is so disgusting. It looks like an a huge, open sore . It looks like where he put the nipple back on has just split apart, although the other is completely healed. I can feel two stitches coming out of it, and supposedly, he had removed all the stitches.
I just need some info before he calls me back, whenever that may be.
Any personal experience or knowledge of this would be extremely helpful.

ANSWER:
I used to work for a plastic surgeon for over a year, while I was just his secretary I often saw alot of surgeries that he did (photographs) and had to answer alot of questions like your own.
Based on what you've said, it seems like there might be a bit of infection of there is fluid coming out that is thick and sticky? But it is normal to have some leakage. I'm assuming he put you on anti-biotics right after the surgery to help with any infection that could arise. When your body goes through a big surgery like that, its normal for it to leak out some fluid, especially since they often "rinse" teh body cavities during surgery with saline solution which can leak out later. I have also had a breast augmentation so I do know the experience of that, but not of a lift. I didnt really have too much leaking, but I know from liposuction people often do.
Either way, you should definitely see your doctor to make sure everything is ok. Dont try to self-diagnose, its always best to see a doctor.
I hope I helped a bit, and good luck, and dont worry!

QUESTION:
Does she look better before or after the bre*st augmentation?
http://www.drzwiebel.com/wp-content/gallery/breast-lift-01/breast-mastopexy-01a_0.jpgJust wondering b/c my boobs are similar to the before shot, and I was considering getting the surgery so I'd probably look like that after picture.
-
ANSWER:
That's not an augmentation, that's a reduction. And they certainly look younger and perkier.I think they look pretty nice.
Edit: @Gwyn - That doesn't mean they're not the same person. so she got a hair cut and went tanning.
What got me thinking was the vertical scar in the before on the woman's right abdomen.
I think others are too critical. She's got young looking perky t#ts! At her age that's pretty spectacular.

QUESTION:
Should my girl friend get a breast lift?
My gf wears a 36 double D. I love her boobs, she wants to get a lift (and possible reduction). we are both 21 years old. she wants to have kids some day. would anyone recomend this?before or after children? Should she stick with doubles or get reduction?-
ANSWER:
Hello,Breast reduction in younger patients is OK if the women have symptoms like back pain already. It is more common to have these symptoms with older patients. The scars required to do the operation tend to put younger patients off. A good surgeon will take this into account and not just "sign her up."

QUESTION:
what is the average cost of a breast lift with augmentation in los angeles or cheaper nearby cities?
in about 6 months i plan to get this after im done breast feeding my 3rd baby and since not having anymore children ii really want this done. anyone has got this in los angeles or close by please recommend where and full price you paid i want to get an idea of how much to save before i get a consultation. thanks.-
ANSWER:
it will really depend on the city and the specific surgeon that you go to.
Los Angeles literally has hundreds of plastic surgeons that will perform breast augmentation and breast lift but at far different prices.
You are looking at an average range from 00 up to ,000+ depending on who the doctor is, the exact type of procedure you have, the incision location, saline or silicone implants, if the doctor has his own surgical practice or if he has to rent an Operating Room from a hospital etc...

QUESTION:
When can I go back to work after having a breast lift and augmentation?
I'm having my surgery done on December 17th (the Friday before Christmas) and I have the weekend off work, but am scheduled to go back on Tuesday. I work in an office and don't have a strenuous job. I do have to walk around the office as well as get things off the shelves from time to time, but we have plenty of stepping stools so I will not have to reach above my head. Should I be able to return to work for Tuesday? Its our busy time of the year and I'm afraid I won't be able to take any more time off work to recover.
I'm really hoping to get some advice from people who have been through this procedure and can help me out

ANSWER:
She should really get a reduction with lift. That way it will be covered by insurance.Depending on the procedure, you have either a better than 50/50 chance, or an excellent chance of breastfeeding.
I had mine reduced Feb 2006 (before kids) from a 38J to a 38C and have an excellent chance of breastfeeding.

QUESTION:
How can I naturaly lift up my breast?
I'm 24 and after just having a baby and breast feeding for two weeks before going to the bottle, my once perfect DD breast have shrunk a few sizes and are starting to sag a bit. This is so embarrassing. I'm really considering surgery. Before I go that far, is there anything I can do to stop what nature has obviously intended? I'm trying Palmers skin Firming lotion, it makes the skin look amazing but doesn't really tighten, and after a shower I rub sweet almond oil all over. Please help.-
ANSWER:
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding
According to the AAP, "Human milk is species-specific, and all substitute feeding preparations differ markedly from it, making human milk uniquely superior for infant feeding. Exclusive breastfeeding is the reference or normative model against which all alternative feeding methods must be measured with regard to growth, health, development, and all other short- and long-term outcomes. In addition, human milk-fed premature infants receive significant benefits with respect to host protection and improved developmental outcomes compared with formula-fed premature infants… Pediatricians and parents should be aware that exclusive breastfeeding is sufficient to support optimal growth and development for approximately the first 6 months of life and provides continuing protection against diarrhea and respiratory tract infection. Breastfeeding should be continued for at least the first year of life and beyond for as long as mutually desired by mother and child."A.A.P. Breastfeeding Policy Statement: Breastfeeding and the Use of Human Milk Pediatrics Vol. 115 No. 2 February 2005
(http://aappolicy.aappublications.org/cgi/content/full/pediatrics;115/2/496)
The American Dietetic Association promotes breastfeeding
The ADA also believes that "the bonding that occurs during breastfeeding makes it a special choice." The ADA actively promotes breastfeeding, stating that "It is the position of the American Dietetic Association that broad-based efforts are needed to break the barriers to breastfeeding initiation and duration. Exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months and breastfeeding with complementary foods for at least 12 months is the ideal feeding pattern for infants. Increases in initiation and duration are needed to realize the health, nutritional, immunological, psychological, economical, and environmental benefits of breastfeeding."ADA Website: ADA Website: http://www.eatright.org/Public/NutritionInformation/92_8236.cfm

QUESTION:
what would happen to my breasts if I got a breast lift then got pregnant?
I am pregnant now, and my breasts a re huge and they were before I was pregnant and they were saggy. I know they are going to be worse after I give birth but I want to have more children, but I don't want to wait until I'm done having kids to have nice breasts!! has anyone had a breast job done then gotten pregnant?
Ok duh I didn't mean getting it done while I was pregnant, I mean after. BUT I want to have more children so I will get pregnant again!!-
ANSWER:
I havent had one done, But I am waiting untill my tubes are tied to look into having any kind of lift done if I even need it. I'm happy with what they are now, but dont know how big they will get from here. I'm a 38c now at 10 weeks(yay past midnight!!!), so if they get much bigger then I will have a lift done. I was a 34a before getting pregnant with my first, and am NOT living the rest of my life with yucky looking breasts if they get ruined this time lol. Husband agrees.

QUESTION:
Breast lift and reduction VS Breast lift with implants?
I am 26 years old and have had 2 kids. So my boobs are not exactly in the best shape any more. They used to be a perky 36C now they are a not so perky 38DD. I am done with having kids and wanted to get them fixed. I can't figure out weather I should just get a lift and reduction or a lift with implants. I was looking at before and after pics and with the lift and reduction the shape of the boobs were not like a boob should look. That's what made me wonder about a lift with implants. Now am I aiming to high and being to picky? I would just like someones opinion that has had or is going to have the same procedure done.-
ANSWER:
i had a breast reduction (with lift) and my boobs are boob shaped. they weren't for the first 3 months because of what occurrs during surgery, but now they are great. you must have seen pictures from when they are still healing and flat on the bottom. gravity and time give the boob the good boob shape post surgery.as for what to do. the decision is yours. having a large chest for most of my life, i am very happy to have a small chest now.

QUESTION:
Experiences with Breast Lift Surgery (Mastopexy)?
I have a good friend who is considering a Breast Lift Surgery (Mastopexy). She has had very uneven breasts since puberty and she feels they sag (due to very fast growth & skin lost it's elasticity). Her uneven and sagging breasts make her so uncomfortable, she wears nothing but t-shirts, has not been in a bathing suit for 3 years, and changes in closed rooms. She has gotten to the point where I feel her behavior is extreme, and it's worrying me. She thinks a mastopexy would be the answer. We have googled it and seen before and after pictures, learned about the actual procedure, etc. She knows about the degree of scarring and the healing process but I wanted to find out some personal experiences about it
So if you, a friend/mother/sister/spouse/girlfriend/etc had a mastopexy performed, could you give me some insight?
Here is some of the things I'm wondering about:
- healing time/process, how long was it, was it difficult to deal with all the things you have to do to heal?
- actually surgery, how long are you out of work or unable to go about your normal routine?
- cost...ball park figure would be OK. just want an idea, i know it's different from city to city and state to state.
- scarring, do you think the degree of scarring is worth the result?and finally, was it worth it?
any other advice is welcomed as well.
-
ANSWER:
Those are good questions. This is something your friend would need to decide. My suggestion is have your friend talk to me. Some of your questions depend on the patient. I can give your friend advice and probably help her out alot. My suggestion is have her contact me if she wants. I'm a doctor in case your wondering.

QUESTION:
Does a breast lift or implant affect your ability to breast feed?
I was thinking about getting a breast lift and possible small implant in the near future, but if it will affect my ability to breast feed in the future then I would not go through with it. I'm almost 20 and I have lost so much weight that my boobs are very very saggy. I want to look and feel as young as I really am and I feel that this will give me that extra bit of happiness that I am looking for. I only want to get the small implant if my breasts are going to end up being smaller than a large C cup after the lift. I have D's right now and I'm sick of not being able to find bathing suit tops that won't fit and shirts that are way too tight up top. So, my question is, does getting a breast lift and/or breast implant affect your ability to breast feed?*I just wanted to add that I would ask a plastic surgeon but I'm not looking to make an appointment anytime in the near near future, but I would like to get as much info on it before I decide on going further with it or not... (Sorry for the re-post but I haven't gotten as many answers as I would have liked...)
-
ANSWER:
Hello,
A breast lift can affect your ability to breast feed more than the simple placement of implants. If you are planning to have kinds soon, wait. Also, if you are already a D, you might want a lift alone. The placement of implants will make you larger. Lifts without implants do give you less "upper pole" fullness though. Also stabilize your weight before you do anything as weight changes afterward can change the breasts. So you got to ask one plastic surgeon at least.....lol.

QUESTION:
How much did your breasts sag after pregnancy/b feeding?
I need a breast lift.I do not have any children right now.i REALLY want to get it done before I have children for some reasons. How much did your breasts sag when you were pregnant/breast feeding? when I get my lift, my boobs would be relatively smaller because im not opting for a implant.
i dont have to worry about this for a few years since i am adopting first and then having a bio kid but i am still curious.
-
ANSWER:
I have big boobs anyway (I wear a 38D or 38DD). After breastfeeding and switching to formula, they are about the same, maybe just a little more saggy. If you already have big boobs, you probably won't notice a lot of a difference. If your breasts are more on the small size and get really big during and after pregnancy, you might have a greater chance of sagging after your breasts go back to normal size.

QUESTION:
How does weight loss effect breast sagginess?
I've had pretty big boobs since 6th grade. Right now I'm a 38DD/DDD. Being that they're huge I sag. They're not like empty pockets, I'm quite full, it's just that my nipples are a little too low. :/ It's not as bad as the pictures in the breast lift before and afters since those women had gone through pregnancy [I'm 19] and the lot but it's still unsightly to me. I have always thought of lifts and reductions but were too scared to decide on it since they reshape the areola and I would no longer look natural to me. Also, if I were to lose weight after the surgery I might become even more saggy than before.I've been losing weight recently. I've went from 186 to 173. I'm trying to reach 160 and then hope to reach 150 and stop. I wanted to know.. if I were to get down to my goal weights would I droop even more? I don't expect to lose much at all from my breast since regardless of what size I was they were a'ways large for my body. A cup size at most. I heard slow weight loss is good because it gives your skin enough time to recover and shrink into your new shape.
Will that allow me to lift a little, would some weight loss in my breast make me drop or will I stay the same?
Sorry that my thoughts aren't too well organized with this. :]

Hey guys one of my clever or (may be)dumb friends has left me really confused regarding protein consumption for weight training.
Am 19 and i work out in the evening,so this friend of mine tells me it's of no use taking protein rich food stuff(eggs, chicken breast etc) in the afternoon or in the morning....he tells me i should be consuming protein stuff only after my work out...is he right in saying all the protein i consume in the morn/noon goes waste?? i thought i should be consuming 25-30g protein every 3 hours...please help!! thanx in advance

ANSWER:
You need to be taking it in all day like you are, but to much protein and not enough fat can make you sick. You need to do research to find the right ratio that work with your workout and body mass.

QUESTION:
moms: breast lift or fake boobs?
As most moms know after pregnancy our boobs sag a little. Before I had my daughter I thought I had the most perfect boobs ever (lol) . I did choose to breast feed with my daughter and now I am pregnant again and plan to do the same. After this child I would love to have nice boobs again. A breast lift is more of what I want cause I don't like the look of fake. Soo please tell me how YOU feel about yours. Cause so far I'm alone on this :/-
ANSWER:
I am pregnant with my second...pumped for 4 months and then nursed my daughter for 22 months.... and I agree...I don't care if it is vain...but I loved my boobs and would highly consider getting a lift too. (after I am done nursing #2). I probably won't spend the money...but I agree with you:-)
@ Kay- I believe the question was "How do you feel about your boobs" and "is a lift or implants better"?...she did not ask you to have a judgmental tone....can't people just answer the question???

QUESTION:
Is it worth it to get breast implants before I have kids?
I am thinking of getting breast implants. I am in my late twenties and will probably have kids in 3-5 years time.I have been told by some people that implants don't result in painful breasts when pregnant or breastfeeding, and even make the breasts perkier than normal post-breastfeeding.
I have been told by others to wait until I have had kids. they say my boobs will go up two cup sizes, and that the implants (which I am getting to make my small breasts larger) will be valueless- if I need implants post-kids, it will be for lift and fullness, not size (other people say, though, that their breasts shrank after having kids!)
They also say that implants may make engorged pregnancy/breastfeeding breasts even more painful.
Please let me know what you think, and if you have had any experience of this??
-
ANSWER:
Wait until after you have kids. Your breasts will change in size and you might be one of the lucky ones who goes from a AA cup to a C cup. Or you could be unlucky and go from a AA cup to deflated sacs of nothing in which case implants will be almost a necessity. Breastfeeding can be very uncomfortable in the beginning, and you also run the risk of mastitis (an infection) if breasts get too engorged in the early days. Also, there are some women who can't breastfeed after implants, no matter what is promised beforehand. Considering the importance of breastfeeding for nutrition and for bonding with a newborn, in my opinion that tips the scales in favor of waiting until after kids.I was one of those who went from flat to stretched sacs of nothing after two kids. I now have a nice pair of C-sized sweater puppies and both me and my hubby couldn't be happier. It was a worthy investment My shape looks so much better, my waist looks thinner and my hips less bulgy now that my upper half is as curvy as the lower half. I'm thrilled with the results and I don't regret it for a second. Nor have I become "addicted" to surgery, that's the only thing I've ever had done. There are some very realistic implants out there. My own doctor showed my the different options, from "bouncy and natural" to what he called "porn star plastics" Don't go too large, invest in the bouncy ones and no one will be the wiser.

QUESTION:
Thinking of getting a breast lift...please help with advice:)?
I am 25 yrs old and i have a 34 DD...I recently lost about 4-5 lbs (i know it may not seem like a lot to some but for me, its a big difference) and noticed that my breast started to sag even more then before. I am ashamed of it and I want to enjoy the showing off my body while i'm young
(doesn't mean I am going to run around naked, just don't want to be ashamed of them).I wanted to wait until I have a baby but I dont know when that will be and would like to consider the operation now. So here are my questions:
Will the breast lift leave horrible, visible scars (that would defeat the purpose of showing them off:)
Will my brest sag after having kids and breastfeeding?
I have the option of having the surgery in France, Israel, US, or Russia - which country has better specialists?
Has anyone done it and have positive or negative feedback?Plz plz plz respond only IF YOU actually KNOW, have done it, or seen a close person go through it. Please leave rude comments out. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
ANSWER:
If you want to have a child some day, the chances of your breasts changing again is very likely. Weight gain with pregnancy causes excess fat to stretch skin, and breasts could become saggy again, even after having a previous lift. So you may need to have more surgery in the future. As far as scarring goes, it all depends on the kind of procedure you get. The website I found says there are a couple options you can try. You can get a full lift which requires lots of incisions, or you can get a modified lift that uses only one incision. Since the latter doesn't require as much cutting, I assume it leaves less scarring.
I'm not sure about France, Israel or Russia, but there are some well-qualified surgeons in the US that can guide you through the process, and they can probably schedule the surgery pretty quickly.
I hope this helps, and good luck with the decision.

QUESTION:
After losing weight breast prob..I need opinions from people who had the same problem or know about it
(?
So because i was sick i lost about 28 pounds in a few months.I weight now 108 pounds and 5' 4'' .I know its not enough but i cant really seem to gain it back, and my whole body became kinda soft. But what i mind the most is the way my breasts look now.Im 23 years old and I had a firm 36C before, now i wear 34B.one size less im not sure about the number cause we have european sizes here..I don't mind the smaller size, but the fact that they sagged and the skin on them is so soft i can pull it!!I feel so bad about it,because I didn't even lose the weight purposely and im young for breast lifts etc, because if i get children during those years, ill destroy them. But how much would a breast lift help?It should be combined with implants to look normal?
***Ive also heard that exercising the pectoral muscles can help, but isn't breast just fat tissue?*-
ANSWER:
First, I know about this because my girlfriend is dealing with the issue (she lost 115 lbs) and it was a huge worry to her and a huge blow to her self-image. I am against breast implants. I just don't like the thought of them being there or the risks involved. I couldn't care that they sag now. I still love her because of who she is not what size she is. I realize I am not getting the whole as it has to do with self image picture (she reminds me that I am not the one looking in the mirror). We are still dealing with this but she is seriously considering reduction or implants where I tried looking for alternatives. That being said, I am the one at the disadvantage. I have done my research and the facts are that there is no way to bring them back to the shape she wants without the surgery. Are there options which help - Yes. Are they a total fix - No.
Exercising the pectoral muscles does help. As the muscles are worked (stressed) healing hormones are released for the muscles. These are the bodies natural regenerative enzymes. As they work on the pectoral muscles they are also heighten in the areas surrounding them. This tones the skin and firms up the breasts. The problem, this takes time and considerable effort. It also has limited restoration so they won't "be the same as before".
Another option is inducing lactation. Yes I know you don't want to deal with the leakage but it is an option. This swells the glands and the body moves energy storage there in order to provide the nutrients the breasts need to feed a child. The problem, It takes a set daily pattern to keep the lactation going and when lactation is stopped, the breasts will again sag.
BC pills are another option but they are the basically the same as lactation and it doesn't last.
Herbs and oatmeal are not effective. Yes they help when nursing a child as they add the nutrients needed by your body, but by themselves they do not produce results.
Skin creams and messages are proven to be ineffective.
Being young (under 40) is also an advantage as your metabolism is still high and your body is still resilient enough to recover. Kind of like regaining the waistline after birth. It takes work but you can do it, but it's never the same.
What this amounts to is that I am loosing this battle and that in order to restore her self image she may need to get the reduction / implants. I hate loosing but I have to face the facts.
So how much does it cost? It depends but figure an minimum of k (US) and because it is an elective surgery it is not covered under any health insurance.

QUESTION:
Baseball sized lump in my right breast after stopping breastfeeding?
My first newborn baby is about to be a month old and I was breastfeeding her until I somehow got a staph infection on my finger so I had to stop abruptly. My breast pump had stopped working literally 2 days before I had to stop breastfeeding. About 2 or 3 days after I had stopped a lump started to form in my breast and it has been growing even since. It has been almost 2 weeks since it started to form and now it is the size of a baseball and extremely painful. I can't lift my arm over my head it is so painful. Could it still be a clogged milk duct or something else? Its not red but does have a bit of a fever. Any information could be helpful.-
ANSWER:
Yes, could be a clogged and infected milk duct. There's a common problem that will give you flu like symptoms called Mastitis. I would see your doctor about it.

QUESTION:
Breast feeding after breast augmentation?
I had a breast augmentation about 7 years ago. Before I had it done, I literally had nothing. I could barely fit into a training bra. My implants are under the muscle and saline. I love the way they look, and I am very happy that I had it done. Now I am almost 38 weeks pregnant and planning to breast feed. I was wondering if anyone else has gone through this and encountered any problems? Also, how will they look after I wean my son? Will I need to get a lift or anything? I work in a field that is highly dependent upon physical appearance, so I am not just being vain. It's really important to me and my family's future, but not as important t as my son's health.-
ANSWER:
Yes you can breastfeed as long as the milk ducts weren't damaged. Have you had any colostrum leaking yet? That could be a good sign. At your next dr appointment talk with them about your concerns. They should have a breastfeeding consultant at the hospital too that can help you. As far as looks go, you will probably have some sagging from the pregnancy. Thats just from gaining weight and has nothing to do with breastfeeding. Good luck!

QUESTION:
Has anyone had their breasts augmented after having children under Medicare?
I am seeing a surgeon about getting some work done om my breasts. I found out that if your youngest child is one but no older than seven, you may be entitled to get your breasts lifted etc. under Medicare. Has anyone done this and can you tell me about it. Eg, How bad where they before. Were you happy with the results...
I know that it is possible, I have had a friend have it done and I have spoken to my doctor.-
ANSWER:
It sounds like you are under the age of 65 and may not be disabled. You may be confused about two public benefit programs with very similar names....The thing to know about Medicare is that this program is insurance for acute illnesses of older Americans and certain disabled younger Americans. If you are enrolled in Medicare Parts A and Part B, bills pertaining to procedures that are deemed "medically necessary" will be paid for because it is insurance. If you are on Medicare, you would be paying a monthly premium for this insurance coverage.
"Medically necessary" is the most important Medicare term. Medicare will not pay for any procedure or care that is not deemed as necessary for the recovery or rehabilitation of a patient. For example, a lot of people think Medicare will pay for one's nursing home. Yes, Medicare will pay for limited days of nursing home care that is "medically necessary" --but, if the doctor determines that there will be no further recovery for a person--say someone who just has suffered a stroke and is as good as they are going to ever be physically, well, Medicare benefits basically end. Again, Medicare is insurance primarily for acute illnesses--it was not designed to pay for the costs of day-to-day custodial care--services people need to stay healthy like bathing, feeding, toileting, etc.
Medicaid is a health insurance program for the poor or "medically indigent." Medicaid is only available to folks who meet rigorous financial guidelines. If one qualifies for Medicaid--and folks at the state level determine this--then medical costs might be paid. Rules made at the state level determine whether specific procedures are covered or not. Of course, someone pays this cost, because doctors, surgeons and hospitals have to pay their bills--and that "someone" is the taxpayers. If your surgery is covered by Medicaid, these costs will be shared by the state government and by the federal government.
As I said, rules on what Medicaid covers for younger individuals vary in each state, so you may wish to contact your state's public health office or your local health department --theses places should be able to provide you information on whether this type of surgery is covered. Or, visit with your doctor who may know of a specific person to contact concerning Medicaid coverage.
Hope this helps! Best wishes!

How can you tell if a guy has seen and felt breasts before?
I let him feel my breasts for the first time. He lifted up my shirt and my bra. When he saw them, he looked at them for a moment, and his eyes got bigger. He was really hard, and then after looking at them for a moment, he touches them with both hands and gently squeezed them while we kissed. Then he pulled my shirt back down. Why did he act like this? Do you think he has felt and seen breasts before? How do you know?
We're both 16 by the way.-

QUESTION:
Breast augmentation surgery after breastfeeding?
My breast surgery is scheduled next week. I breastfed my baby for 2.5 years and quit just 2 month ago. My Doc told me that its recomended to wait for 6 mos to do the surgery , cus there is possibility i have milk left over & there is a risk of infection He checked me and said that i am ok to do the surgery, I already did all the tests and preparation. Yesterday i checked my brests better and after pressing & squeezing them VERY HARD there was a few drops in both breasts, I called doc's office, they said as long as its not "squirting" I should be fine. Also they'll put me on antibiotics starting the day before surgery, that should help to avoid infection. My Q is Am I @ the big risk for infection or complication? I will have a lift & fulfill my volume, I got soft hangin' skin left after the long brestfeeding, I mean u can roll the brests up - i need to fix them for sure & get proportional, I am 25y.o, 5'5 and 110 Lb in good shape, barbells & gym r not helpin from that extra sagging skin-
ANSWER:
Breast augmentation is serious surgery with many risks. If you stopped 2 months ago, you're body is still in the middle of the many adjustments associated with breastfeeding. My wife's breast shrank a whole cup size after breastfeeding and we have talked about the possibility of breast augmentation after we're completely done having children. But no doubt we/she would wait at least a year. I think it is way too soon for you and the fact the doctor is saying "should be alright" is not very reassuring.

QUESTION:
Tulsa,OK area & advice on breast reduction?
I live in the Tulsa, OK area and I am seriously considering breast reduction/lift. I have lived with 38 H breasts for way too long and want to get them reduced. The pain while I am pregnant in my back from them when they start growing is almost unbearable and only marginally bearable the rest of the time. Anyway, I am 24 and I have had two children and I would like to consider the surgery within the next 2 years if at all possible. I would like to know anything that I can possibly find out about it really! Any advice at all would be very helpful! My husband thinks that I should just get the lift done but if I'm going to go through surgery for a large amount of money I would rather go all the way with it. (He won't mind anyway I'm sure=)
Like I said, I live in the Tulsa area so I wondered of anyone had had the reduction in that area and had any doctors they would recommend for the surgery? How much did it cost? What size were you before/after? Did they tell you to lose weight before hand? What was your pain like? How bad did you scar? I have large areolas too, did they resize yours or do they do that at all? Did you feel better after you had it done as far as how heavy that they had been?
I would really like to know anything that would help from someone who has been through this already. I probably will try to lose some weight before I have it done, but losing weight has never helped my breasts get smaller so I know that would only help the other parts of me. This isn't really a cosmetic issue (my husband loves them), but it would help my self confidence not to have huge sagging breasts anymore. Thanks to anyone who answers and I will look forward to choosing a best answer and to all the answers that I get. (I really wish we could choose more than one best answer!) Thanks again so much!!!
Thank you so much, Kathleen! WoW!! I have got in contact with them and looked at their site via your link. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that! Thank You, Thank YOU!!!-

QUESTION:
Why is my 6 month old baby puking right after breast feeding?
My 6 month old son puked for the first time last night right after breast feeding. He started sounding like he was coughing but it turned out to be more like a gag reflex and everything he ate came spewing up. It was at about 4:30 am and he fell immediately to sleep. I cleaned him up and put him back to bed. The next morning I BF and he stopped early and was fine for about 5 minutes then it all came up again. He isn't crying and doesn't have a fever. He ate his cereal and when it came time to BF again, he ate and gave me a look like "I'm gonna puke" and I gently lifted him to me and within seconds he puked up everything again. He again didn't cry, just looked relieved in fact. He played with his toys after I cleaned us up, then he got tired and is currently taking his nap. This all happened out of the blue. He has never puked before (I'm not counting spit up). The only thing I can think of is I had some green peppers on some pizza and I had 2 glasses of peach flavored tea last night. Both of which I haven't eaten since he was born. Is it possible that either of these things are upsetting his stomach and how long would it take to get it out my system? I pumped all my milk out (till I let down twice) and threw it away, in hopes that it was just something I ate. Would that have cleared out what I ate last night? Should my next milk let down be good? If he continues to puke today I am taking him to the hospital, but I was hoping for some input mainly about the unexplained puking and if it could be my breastmilk and if it is, how long until I have good milk again? Thank you so much for your input!-
ANSWER:
Sometimes babies just spit up/throw up. My son throws up sometimes. If he starts crying, I feed him again and then it stays down. Just try not to bounce him around too much after he eats. My mom said that I hardly ever kept down any of my food. I would always throw up - and it was projectile lol. I would try eating those things again and see if you get the same reaction, then you can know for sure if that's what is doing it. Some people say that the spices in pizza sauce may cause your baby some tummy issues too - but it's different for every baby. Josiah is fine with green peppers and stuff like that - I've been too scared to try the cabbage-y foods lol. But maybe keep a food journal and see if there are any patterns that progress.
Hope this helps.
p.s. I don't think the hospital is really necessary unless you start to notice that he is unhappy and can't keep the food down, or you notice a decline in weight.

QUESTION:
How to fix saggy boobs?
Before getting pregnant my boobs were never "perky".. but now that theyre getting bigger and I plan on breast feeding,Im wondering if theres anything I can do after I lose weight and stop breast feeding to make them more "up"?
and if not.. how much is surgery and can you breast feed in future pregnancies after a breast lift?
-
ANSWER:
you can still breastfeed after a lift but be aware that it might change the shape of your breasts all over again and that money you spent on surgery is pretty much out the window.
Probably best to wait on surgery (if it's even really necessary) till you think you're done having kiddos.
The best way to "fix" saggy boobs is to prevent them, don't go braless, especially while breastfeeding and really especially while you are engorged (the extra weight will stretch out the muscles), you'll probably want to wear a bra all the time anyway for the support while breastfeeding (plus it gives you a place to hold the breastfeeding pads).
Also keeping your pectoral muscles (chest and "armpit" muscles) toned will provide internal support for your breasts and naturally keep them up better. And remember the bigger they are, the more strain they put on the muscles, so getting rid of that baby weight and staying in shape will help.
Of course your quick-fix answer is to just go get a nice victoria secret push-up bra (just don't use the wonder-bra while your breastfeeding, it's just gonna hurt, and with your big milk-filled breasts it's jsut going to be overkill anyway).

QUESTION:
Is it possible to build a few pounds of muscle in a week?
I started a 3 day a week lifting program with about 2 miles running/walking treadmill w/ incline on off days. Have been taking whey protein before and after on lifting days and once on off lifting days. Eating mainly protein (eggs, turkey bacon, chicken breast, cheese) with broccoli/cauliflower, bananas, peanut butter, rye toast and drinking only water. I appear to be gaining weight even though I cut calories and have been working out daily.-
ANSWER:
It's possible, but more likely you have increased water and nutrient content within your muscles ( the first step to actual muscle growth). Water contributes quite a bit to the appearance of muscle size.

QUESTION:
How much time should I wait between a tummy tuck and breast surgery?
I'm getting a tummy tuck, some lipo, and plastic surgery for scarring on my leg this Tuesday. I'm also interested in getting breast work done ASAP. I will probably just need a lift instead of an enhancement, but I will leave it to my surgeon to decide. Money is not an issue, my schedule is. How soon after this surgery should I feel well enough for the breast surgery. My surgeon says 6 months and though I respect him and he's the best, we have already begun to playfully argue considering I've had many surgeries before. I'm thinking it'll be my Thanksgiving present to myself - Christmas at the latest. Any ideas?-

This is my usual diet for cut phase.
breakfast = 44g protein via whey protein drink + 1/2 cup oatmeal
Lunch1= 50 g protein via canned chicken breast.
between meal snack= 45g protein via grilled chicken breast
between meal snack2= 45g protein via grilled chicken breast
dinner= 45g protein via grilled chicken breast
before bed = 44g protein via whey protein drink
Obviously give or take some. this is a close estimate I eat total 230-280g protein a day
I weigh 170 and am 5'6" about somewhere between 10-20% BODY FAT.. NOT REALY SURE..
One gym tole me i was 11.6 and one gym said 19.6. I think i am somewhere in the middle.
I Lift 3 days a week and do cardio the other 2 days. with cardio sometimes after lifting-
ANSWER:
Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck

QUESTION:
How often should I lift, eat, rep weight, and any cardio if I just recently started an extremly brutal job?
I have a degree in exercise science and have been working out for 10 years so please don't bother telling me the basics that everyone knows. I'm 7% body fat. 5'9 173 lbs. Bench press 325 lbs. My main goal this summer is to be as ripped as possible because no matter how low my body fat is, I still have some body fat in my ab area. My diet consists of only these foods: Protein powder, oatmeal, egg whites, tuna, chicken breast, sweet potatos, salads with only vinegar, brown rice, talapia, fat free cotage cheese, and a little bit of peanut butter. I normally lift 3 days on, 1 day off. I started a job unloading trucks full of cases and kegs of beer in the heat all day long. It's extremley exausting on my body. I have never been put in this situation for my exercise training. Lifting before work is not an option because I usually start work at 6:30 and sometimes work up to 12 hours. I'm looking to see what others do to succeed in ripping out for the summer after a long day of brutal work. How often should I lift? how long should I lift? should I cut out all cardio since I huff and puff all day?
I have a degree in exercise science and have been working out for 10 years so please don't bother telling me the basics that everyone knows. I'm 7% body fat. 5'9 173 lbs. Bench press 325 lbs. My main goal this summer is to be as ripped as possible because no matter how low my body fat is, I still have some body fat in my ab area. My diet consists of only these foods: Protein powder, bananas, apples, berries, oatmeal, egg whites, tuna, chicken breast, sweet potatos, salads with only vinegar, brown rice, talapia, fat free cotage cheese, and a little bit of peanut butter. OK as for the abs stuff and the finer detail of your question - sorry not 100% certain, however, maybe the link below may give you a lead or a hint or so forth.
Apologies in advance if you have already covered these bases.Isaac

QUESTION:
I need several surgeries and they're going to leave major scars (I'm 16)?
I'm 16 and I need several surgeries. The biggest ones I'm concerned about are my collarbone and wrist. I broke them in a car wreck when I was 11 and the doctors never casted them or anything. Now my wrist and collarbone hurt and I have arthritis. I also have limited movement in my collarbone so I can only lift my arm so high. The scarring is horrible (both surgery will leave at least a four inch scar that's prone to keloids). I have very pale skin and scars show up easily and they would be in two very visible places. I also want to get a breast lift with augmentation when I'm 18 because I got put on steroids and gained weight and lost it so now my breasts sag very badly (I asked my doctors about it and there's nothing but surgery to lift my breasts and give them volume). So that will require a lot of scarring too. I don't want to end up looking like I was sewn together all over. What surgeries are there for scar removal and where can I find before/after photos and info related to it? Don't say things like cocoa butter or vitamin e or anything over the counter. It doesn't work. I've tried it. Also if you know any way to get rid of stretch marks either, that would be good too please (I have hundreds from the weight gain on steroids for my asthma). Thanks.
No, I won't end up missing them. Why would I want to have big scars plus be constantly reminded of an event that ruined my and my entire family's life?
I don't like tans. Tans don't suit me at all. I have very pale hair and pale skin is the only thing that suits it. I don't tan anyway. I get sunburned, peel and go back to pale. I can't spend 50 dollars a week on a spray tan either.
I've tried over the counter things like Merderma and whatnot for otehr scars and stretch marks. They don't work. I saw absolutely no difference. That's why I asked about sugeries.
I don't think I want to go to a tattoo artist to give me a surgical procedure. It sounds kind of dangerous and easy to screw up and end up with a worse result.
I looked up the AFGF for scars thing. That's for acne scars. I didn't find anything on it for other scars.-
ANSWER:
I was in an accident when I was 18 years old that left me with some scarring (keloid, in fact). This was in a visible location, my arm. The original scar was actually two scars, one about 4 in. in length and one about 7 in. After much deliberation I decided that I would go in for cosmetic surgery. My arm is not perfect, in fact, because the doctor took the scars that were very close together and stitched them into one I have some stretch marks, and the top part healed back as keloid again. However, I am very happy with the decision. I was often approached with questions, and some very rude people would have terrible reactions to the original scar. Of course I still have a scar and the stretch marks, but I am happy with it, and wear it proudly. (I am getting married in June in a strapless dress!)As far as the stretch marks/discoloration because of the scar I have used Vitamin E, but time is the best healer. Good luck!

QUESTION:
Can I get lift from a bust job?
Is it possible to get a bust job that actually makes the breasts appear to be less saggy than before? My chest doesn't look like a couple of oranges in socks, but after having two children, there is less breast tissue and therefore a bit of sag. I don't want my breasts to be huge, but I figure increasing by a size might have the side effect of making them appear less droopy.-
ANSWER:
definitely, just mention it to your doctor. But to my knowledge, a lift is part of the procedure

QUESTION:
weird breast pain during pregnancy?
I'm about 20-22 weeks pregnant and I know all pregnant women have breast pain but today I thought I was having chest pains it was a really tight feeling like my muscles were clenching together so i started rubbing my side and noticed when I touched my left breast it started really hurting. After that I lifted my left breast and I guess thats where all the pain was coming from because when I did that it hurt sooo badly. I had this pain before and I went to the e.r. thinking again it was chest pain...but he said most likely it's muscles because they did an ekg, x-ray and echo and everything was normal. But, I was really wondering is it normal for one breast to hurt more and if so is it also normal for it to hurt when you lean over to one side like i did earlier and it start hurting? I'm going to talk to my doctor a/t it next week at my visit but I just need some advice for now. Does anyone know what can help soothe this? Also , my right breast never hurts....AT ALL just my left.-
ANSWER:
OMG, yes I had this...like this horrible tingling pain that wouldn't leave...welcome to the wonderful of pregnancy and yet one more thing that no one told you about.Heat helps...its the only thing I found other then always wearing a bra, the sleeping nursing ones from motherhood maternity worked the best. Good luck

QUESTION:
Will slathering my body in a moisturizing lotion reduce my amount of 'loose skin' after my weight-loss?
I have Palmer's All-Over Body Lotion for Stretch Marks (has the pregnant lady on the front). It's enriched with vitamin E, cocoa butter, all kinds of good stuff. I need to lose a significant amount of weight (about 60-75 lbs) and I am so depressed that I am going to have excess skin. Plastic surgery sounds scary and a tummy tuck/breast lift is so expensive and I if I could I would take back what I did to myself. (I lost weight before-50 lbs, but I did it so unhealthily I became anemic and bulimic.)
To reduce my chances of excess skin, would rubbing lotion into my bad areas (tummy, breasts, thighs, upper arms) help, AT ALL?(Other facts: I am 19 years old, have a TON of stretch marks from gaining a lot of weight in a small amount of time, a few other random scars.)
And I already know I have to lose it SLOWLY - any tips on that would be helpful, too. Those 2 years ago when I lost 50 lbs the UNhealthy way I would only take in 700 cals. a day.
thanks.

ANSWER:
just take anything that is rich vitamins B1, B6, B12, E and Caside from taking care of your loose skins, vitamins B1 B6 B12 E and C will even make your skin glow in beauty, you might even look younger than 19.

QUESTION:
Breast Cancer Reconstruction: 6 surgeries and it's not right. What Can I do?
I had my right breast removed and an expander placed inside of the remaining skin . I got an implant put in 3 months later (surgery#2) , during my follow-up check-up the doctor put in a drain. Two days later, I was walking pass the mirror of my bathroom and noticed something shiny on my breast were the drainage was inserted , it was the implant coming out and the stitches coming undone. I drove myself to the hospital in fear of infection, it had to be removed( surgery#3). The doctor suggested for me to do the "TRAM " . Three months later(surgery #4) , I had the muscles of my stomach flip up into my breast cavity, so I was cut from hip to hip in this operation plus having my breast cut again. Three months later that failed, the muscle didn't attach right and was flat and hard and by me having my stomach muscle cut I had a hernia . So I had an implant to replace the muscle and hernia repair with the mesh reinforcement (surgery #5). Time passed and after all the swelling went down it was visible that the implant was smaller than the left breast and was lumpy due to dead muscle tissue due to all the other surgeries before. Surgery #6, before the operation , the doctor marked me with a marker for the sections he was going to cut and correct. He marked all the lumps and said he was going to get rid of them as he replaced the smaller implant for a bigger one and also lift the left breast so they could be even. Two days after the surgery, I still saw the same imperfections . My follow-up visit to the doctor I asked him why did he mark the areas and didn't remove them . He told me that it was dead tisues and he only scraped a little ..he could be he didn't want mess with it. He could remove it another time. Keep in mind all these surgeries were done by the same doctor. Most women that have reconstruction on their breast don't have to have these many surgeries. What can I do? I'm so tired of being cut...so tired of stuffing my bra so people won't stare. I can't even wear a T-shirt with making extra efford to look casual. I don't even have a sex-life because of this...I'm too ashame. All I do is cry over this. It have cost over 50,000 dollars , and it's still not right. WHAT CAN I DO??? DO I NEED A LAWYER? HOW CAN I MAKE THIS RIGHT AND GO ON WITH MY LIFE? For me the cancer part was easy...the reconstruction is killing me.-
ANSWER:
you need a lawyer!! im a cosmetic tattooist n seen good surgeries n bad ones-this sounds like one of those-this client had holes that had to heal but didnt. she fought n won the case-took a long time but she got it fixed.
good luck! sue them
sex is not about that-if he cares about u -u shouldnt let that get in the way. i would go contact ''the doctors'' (on tv-email them) n see if they will call u back until u get the help u need.
