      Hello I had mine done last year and the price was 00 he gave me a list of what it all went towards like surgery room fee, implants and time and so on the price doesn't change with size but does change with the type (ex: saline or silicone) I could also see it depending on incision price not sure though I went with the typical areaola incision.     yes fake i agree, fake breast are becoming popular, but in todays society, when you work in a industry where your paid upon your appearance, and you stand with the other girls who have great breasts, its only natural to want to be proud and earn just as much.       I just got mine done yesterday in Folsom, CA (not too far from you). I went from a small 32A to a full 34C. My surgeon charged me about 00 and she did an AWESOME job! Plus her staff was really kind and caring. I have shopped around for surgeons for almost a year and she was my favorite, though a little more expensive than the others, but she was WELL worth it!

      So yeah, since I just started my experience, I can tell you what I'm going through so far :)

      Yesterday was the surgery. When I came in, I had a guy friend with me who was to look after me after the surgery. It was actually kinda funny. I was getting my IV and the second he saw the needle, he went white! He almost passed out right there. And then I started to get a little dizzy, but the anesthesiologist gave me something to relax and I felt ok. My friend however had to leave since he couldn't handle needles. The next thing I remember, they gave me something to knock me out and then I woke up to see two of the nurses that had helped me earlier. They were very sweet and helped me to my friend's car.

      On the way back home, I started feeling nauseous and I threw up in the car (luckily he had a plastic bag handy), mainly due to the bumpy ride back. When I got home, I noticed that the medication was slowly wearing off, but I wasn't feeling any pain. I felt quite a bit of pressure on my chest and my arm pits felt pretty sore, but there was no pain. So throughout the day, I felt like I was in okay shape. I could walk around if I wanted to (but I did it slowly, since I'm recovering), but yeah, the most painful part of my procedure was actually getting the IV. I sat in the recliner for the most part, since it's the most comfortable position. I watched a few movies, ate some chicken & stars with crackers, ate some apple sauce, drank a lot of water, and took my anti-biotics. My doctor called to check up on me. I told her I was feeling virtually no pain and if it was okay not to take the pain killers. She said it was okay and sounded surprised and happy to know that I had very little if any pain.

      Later, I went to sleep rather early. Sitting in the recliner all day did take a toll on my back, but I was ok. I did take a pain killer right before I went to bed, just in case I should feel the pain in the middle of the night, it won't wake me up. Fortunately, I didn't experience any pain throughout the night. When I woke up, the pressure on my chest was the same, but my arm pits felt a little more sore due to the bandages and surgical bra. It wasn't a really big deal, but it made getting out of bed a little more difficult.

      I went to my follow up about 6 hours ago. When she checked my breasts, she said everything was looking good and normal. She asked me again if I had any pain, I told her I didn't and she said I was one heck of a trooper! When she took my bandages and bra off, a lot of the pressure and soreness went from medium to very mild. But they have to be there so the implants can heal in place.

      Right now, I'm going out of my mind with boredom. I feel okay to do a lot of things, but I'm not allowed to since my breasts need to recover, which is fine, not gonna push myself around like that. But keep in mind that some people have a high tolerance of pain and some don't. So my experience shouldn't be the main reason to go get implants.

      I paid 75: I got silicone implants, 400 cc's, moderate profile plus, sub-muscular, with the areola incision. I just got them done earlier today and I feel practically no pain! There's some pressure on my chest and my armpits are a little sore (feels like I did a LOT of push ups), but other than that the most painful thing I endured was getting the IV right before the surgery. But that's my experience. Some women have TONS of pain after their surgery, some women (like me) don't have any pain or just have very little. But I am told, the hardest part of the procedure is the waiting period; right after your surgery, your breasts are recovering so they're not going to drop and look natural right away. You will have to wait anywhere between 4-12 months to see final results. But hey, I'm working on day one and so far I can tell these bad boys are going to be awesome!

    I know the procedure costs less than a normal augmentation because you don't have to pay any of the anesthesia expenses but I was wondering how much cheaper it is. Ballpark prices for the AWAKE augmentation?

      I don't think you could have a breast augmentation without being under general anesthesia. They cut right down to muscle and shove a foreign object into your body... its an incredibly invasive and painful procedure, I don't think you'd be able to do it (like you wouldnt be able to handle it AND the doctor wouldnt agree to do it) if you were awake!

      I understand that cost is important, but really think about the end result you are looking for. There are saline vs. silicone; under the muscle over the muscle; armpit, belly-button or below the breast insertion. Here is what I know about. Saline are safe but after about 4 years they may start to show rippling on the side of breast even though the implant is fine. Silicone have just been reapproved for market (safer) and feel and look better. They stay looking better for the duration. The only downfall is that you need an MRI after 5 yrs because you may have what is called a silent rupture (not good). If I was you, I wouldn't want a doctor trying to see down around my armpit as to where he should make the pocket for it to go. So throught the armpit is out. I also dont want my nipple to be cut off and re- sewn on. I want the least amount of muscle that has to be cut through because of all of the arteries and veins in my chest, so through the belly button is out too. That leaves under the breast which is just fine. The dr can see what he is doing and the scar you cant even see. It's really a choice that is more important than how much it costs so good luck in your decision and remember that your health is more important, because without it you and your spouse will not enjoy the fun they will bring you.
